i wanted to know the maximum number of villages one can have in ice..

The bonuses for each: food: +50%. Wood/stone: +35% (if you also wanted to know that)

And I'm pretty sure this also has been mentioned in another thread

Originally, the limit was 10 of each type of village, and the bonuses each one gave you was less. When they changed it, the players who already had more than 5 of each type were allowed to keep those extra villages, though they would not be able to recapture them if they were stolen. That's why you can still find players with more than 15 total.
