i am quite confuse

left flank
9 ladder vs 1 sotne-throw + 2 flamming arrow < 2 flaming arrow mean 2nd wave also meet anothe r flaming arrow >
i send
wave 1 21 2hands
wave 2 13 2hands + 8 heavy
wave 3 21 heavy

i lost 23 2hand and 1 heavy in there after meet with 18 norsemen with bow + 13 norsemen with axe < only kill 16 norseman with bow + 11 norsemen with axe ...not all of them >

it means my 1st wave are all down, look to me, 9 ladder is incorrect, it may be 9 manelet ??

9 ladder + 5 ram ( i do not have 9 ram) vs 1 castle gate + 1 flamming arrow + 1 stone throwing

i lost 25 2hands after meeting 21 norsemen with bow + 12 norsemen with axe < all killed >
my wave 1 go thro' fronter...
do i over-provided tools or incorrect tools again

it seems i still lost a great amount....

any 1 explain..what is wrong ...

call me crazy, but resources are tighter than coins for me right now, I like to use 1 wave of martyr to clear the tools...

OK, i just tried it not all the enemy tools were used up in the first wave, so my losses were worse than expected...

i'm trying to work out a optimal strategy with martyrs

That doesn't work on certain Barbarian fortresses, and that causes more casualties, so this is useful only if you want to save tools

Why don't you send wooden mantlet?
Can someone tell the best formation because I lose lots of soldiers?
