In the military section of the research tower, does the Forced March icon increase the travel speed of only units deployed from the main castle to its outposts, or does it increase the travel speed for the soldier units deployed from any of its outposts back to the main castle? Or, what about soldier units deployed from the main castle to its alliance members & vice-versa?
Am i over-thinking all this?
Thanks for the help

The forced march upgrade in the research tower only increases the speed by X% of the soldiers and tools when you are moving your army between your own castles (in the same kingdom), like from your own outposts to your main castle or viceversa or between your own outposts, it also work with your villages.
It doesn't have any effect when moving between alliance members or other players.

Other then the stables, is there a way to increase speed of troops going out on an attack? Or a way to increase support speed, other then with the alliance buy page?

No, the only way to increase attack speed is using the alliance "war speed bonus" and faster support from the "support speed" bonus, but, if you complete the upgrade in the research tower you can speed up your veterans to make them move at 31,2 the veteran spearman and 32,4 the veteran bowman, so you could support your alliance faster I guess.

You have to reach a high enough level to build it.

But when you reach higher levels of research you will need rubies to conduct the research.

So far, the only thing I've seen requiring rubies in the Research tower is "Marching Formation" lvl 3.

Those researches are paid only with ressources.
