I was on today during the amazing buy anything for rubies at 50% off event. I stocked up on everything. I was delighted to find that when hiring the tax collector, overseers, and drill instructors that after you amass 14 days you even get an additional 10% ruby deduction on further time purchased. I was disappointed when I tried to extend the time on my 3rd recruitment slot and additional construction slot as I could not figure out a way to do so. Did I miss something? or is there no way to extend the time rented and you are only able to wait until its time runs out and purchase it again?

Between the prime time +75% bonus on rubies purchased and the 50% off event this game isnt as expensive as I once feared. You just have to be patient.

u do not considered "it is expensive"

go to buy premium -> 1 years
then ..during prime time bonus,buy the max bonus 1

keep on hiring hero ( for resource, plunding, training, healing etc ) and extend b4 it expired < system will alert u to do extension >

then u will find yourself at a wonderful progress
