You are probably in a pact with an alliance that does have one. If you are in a pact you cannot attack.

Can I ask why you are trying to attack the capital? Just to waste your soldiers? Unless you have 10,000+ attackers or a lot of people hitting with you why would you even attack it? lol.. I don't understand

no we dont have a pact with them

i believe they havent more than maybe a 1000 soldiers there at the moment
so if i hurry i may have a chance to take it

I'm going to let you know that I don't know of a single capital that has less than 5000 defenders there already. I have 20,000. So dunno how long they've had it but you will need more than just you.

That is sooo true i mean theres one at 657:657 that has like 6000 soliders at it! so it will need more then just you... unless you have like 5000 attackers then maybe you might have a chance of getting it

There's a lot more than that there...

But that's the whole point, this is meant to be something an alliance works towards. A strong alliance should be able to call upon a lot more than 5,000 troops if needed. If they work together, weakening defenses before launching a capture attack, then theoretically any capital can be captured. In practice of course it's a lot more difficult than that.

I don't think that you know better than either of them. Unless you have a 65-person alliance who are all going to attack with over 1,000 veterans each, I don't think you can do it. Not only do they have more than 20,000 troops (most of them), but those defenders are often the new defensive kingsguard.

Your answer is:

Either you have a pact with the alliance that owns this, the capital is actually owned by one of the players in your alliance, or it is a bug. If you are 100% sure that it is a bug, then report it to support.
