Come on, I just wanted to buy rubies with the bonus ;(*, why you guys of GGS don't stop doing updates for a few days and concentrate on fixing annoying bugs like that?

CM Pinky was kind enough to offer to forward a letter from the community directly to the CEO

If you agree with the letter's contents, feel free to sign, I am assuming it will get printed out on Monday

I have a SIMPLE FIX MAYBE. RUN the sale for a full day. Less chance of server overload if people know that have more time. BUT seeing in the forums that this has happened before. SHAME ON YA'LL for running the sale again for only 75% off and not being ready. U ask for praise instead of criticism. SHOW ME SOMETHING TO PRAISE? And why do yall deserve any praise the rubies bought and the money in ya'lls pockets should be enough. Plus somehow ya'll got Euro game of the year? Really HOW with this customer service BUT ya'll did... is that not praise enough. I have not been playing long at all, but I know enough to know that yall are some spoiled brats running the game, stuck up spoiled brats. ALL YALL WANT IS THE MONEY, the good ole we will fix it later attitude but where is the money. OH NO wee are running a sale and if we let to many buy from the sale we will not make as much money. And 2 times now the server has mysteriously shut down. SEEMS LIKE A SCAM TO ME.

What are the odds of starting a successful ruby boycott? :p

You don't have to. No one is buying rubies anyway. These guys are losing out on probably literally thousands of dollars because they are too cheap/greedy to run stress tests and buy a better server to handle the load. That and they still think it's a good idea to run the bonus on every server at the same time.

Do the people who bought the obscenely high priced premium account have all these problems?

Yes. I have spent hundreds on this game and have the same issues. Everyone is treated equally unfair in this game support wise.

I would say we have more problems as we pay real money to play this game. 75% of $5 isn't much but 75% of $175 is.

They have stopping connections to their server in the 100 % and 75 % offers. That was made on purpose.
It's a well known tactic.

Everyone thinks they losing money doing this : that's not the case

Players/customers are buying rubies after the false offers anyway (at full price).
If you could look their transactions logs you will see that.

Just sue the company and you will see they will stop to use these FALSE offers tactics.
But nobody will sue company so they are free to do what they want.

Your statement is incorrect, why?
After you access the shop (after any prime time), you will see the prices listed as normal, when you access the shop in prime time, you can clearly see ( + XX % of bonus on rubies for XX Minutes) and the prices displayed according to the bonus, also when you are going to buy them you see ( + XX % Bonus)

Oh it was working for you then ?
Point is "you couldn't access the shop in prime time".

I know for sure they don't lose money with these "don't working offers". So stop thinking that.
If they were losing money trust me that would not happen two times in a row

Hi agagah,

I'll be honest, i'm curious as how you get to the conclusion. Of course we lose money when the servers go down. If we have people wanting to buy rubies, which we do, and the servers go down, then we are losing a lot of potential income. Did the servers go down on purpose? Of course not, we gain nothing at all from that. I still do not fully know what happened last night, all i have heard is that the server got overloaded by so many people trying to accept the offer. I do not know why it was not working after last time, but i do know that it was not intentional.

As xJadetsssx kindly pointed out the shop prices are clearly marked as reduced during the offer time. If people chose to buy when the store became available again after the servers were restarted then they were aware that the discount was not being applied.

Regards,
Malreyn

I want to know if the offer comes up again within a very short time when I decided that if not then it's over (went on this game in an ad in Travian)

What a stupid thing to say. If GGS wanted to sell rubies at full price they wouldn't have offers at all. The offers are merely an incentive for players to spend more money. I imagine GGS are extremely angry with the problems too as they will have lost a lot of potential customers and therefore cash. Probably the reason the servers crashed is because so many people tried to login/access ruby page at the same time. NOT because GGS deliberately pulled the system.

The fact that they are not handling the situation well is another matter; customer service is clearly not their strong point, but don't confuse the issue here.

I can not agree more with you but I do not understand is that it gives them revenue is not something they have mastered the conclusion must almost be that they do not want to make money so the question is WHY

so pages mane and cheer a little more than that there will be a small consolation bonus of 25% off rubies but what happens lol no access to the site again again again
