[-76975] Gengis Khan XIV [None] :: Sept. 12, 2012, 12:26 p.m.
I had recently spied on an outpost which the main castle is in ruins. i had sent an attack early in the morning of 371 heavy troops to the outpost. when i logged back later on today i found that i had lost the attack to someone else not the outpost i had planned to attack X( which is wierd since i did send the attack to the outpost. i messaged the person i lost to but he hasnt replied. Could someone please help me? :(

Note: both people are not in the same alliance.

- the outpost with an espionage is the one i had attacked.

The other active player may have launched a attack and it reached the outpost while you were gone, but before your army reached it. Then, naturally, your army would have attacked anyway (since you dont a pact with each other), and you simply lost...

Or you could've mis-clicked and attacked the wrong outpost...

To clarify matters, which outpost is called 'Click'?

Just because someones Main Castle goes into ruins doesn't mean all their troops in the outposts die. Can you post the spy report? Maybe you spied on the other outpost. And who's name is the outpost tied to?

Or it could be that you actually attacked an outpost that belonged to MAZA Ag. Jack who has gone into ruins and he had that many troops left there.

What I want to know is why were you attacking an outpost with no owner? If there's no owner surely there's no point to the attack unless someone you know wants to capture it.

More info please :)

@ Baldrick

i know that! and no i didnt spy on the other outpost and it's shown on one of the pics. his name is LOEWENKRASS II. MAZA Ag. Jack is not in ruins and had just msg'd me confirming that i did just attack him :o

@ ProStrategos

hmmm, it could be we were both attacking it.. is that possible? :o or i actually made a mistake but before i sent the attack i made sure i was attacking the out post and not anything else :| the espionage message says ' Espionage by Clack

I think you misunderstood, Baldrick. Genghis launched an attack on an outpost (the black and white one), hoping to capture it. However, he ended up receiving a combat report against another player, MAZA (blue and black), who didn't own the targeted outpost. Thats why Genghis is confused, and I've tried to address the issue in my previous post.. :)

Edit: @Genghis, more than one player CAN launch an attack on the same outpost - they'll just have to fight over it, and whoever holds it for a day will gain ownership! (I've tried it before, btw ;))

As for the espionage message, I can't see it, so I won't talk about that. What I'm trying to say is that your battle report stated 'Battle of Click', so just check who owns that outpost and you'll know whether it was a bug and a mistake on your part...

@ProStrategos

Thank you for this info, i didnt know that was possible. I have also managed to contact him and indeed he was trying to capture it, so we faced off in someone's outpost lol :)

That's really interesting to know. I guess if the second attack "bounced off" like it would with a village then it would be easy to avoid someone taking the outpost by launching a ninja attack from within the alliance of the owner.

Apologies for my earlier confusions.
