With the hope of what? New players join all the time. It was that spots turn and it happened before your reserved time arrived. It's unlucky but nothing support will do about it. They won't kick the new player out to another spot because you "want" it.

However, this poses the issue of what happens when a player pays rubies for a 2nd move and misses out because of new spawn ins???

As for you - pick another spot...

I'd say this is a bug Alcraigh.

If a space is reserved then no castle should enter that spot. A reservation is a reservation after all.

same thing happend to me, the countdown had started and my flag was in the spot, came back to find a new player in the spot.

I wouldn't say a bug at all. That gives to much credit to GGE. I'd say oversight in their planning, hence my point about support - what are they going to do when this issue hasn't even flagged on their radar.

Bugs are errors in the code, this possibly wasn't even coded correctly. Like I said before, GGE will have an even bigger issue on their hands when someone pays for a move and gets blocked out.

Time for a quick patch update and perhaps lower the level of players who can move to the level before you can build an estate and capture your first OP (I forget the exact level).

Bug, mistake, problem. Whatever you want to call it, this is an error.

Don't tell the guy just to pick another spot.

He wants to tell people about this problem and wants GGS to rectify the reason this happened.

Why not tell him to pick another spot? That's the option available to him. Like I said before you chimed in, support aren't going to boot or move a new player in the spot he wants. His options at the moment are to pick another spot or to stay where he is. That's the reality of the situation

As far as wanting to tell people, that's fine but this isn't a hand holding feel good session. He won't get what he wants by posting here about it. Hell, he likely won't get what he wants from support as the moment has passed, they've made an a error and they'll apply a patch to prevent it happening again - all like I posted before champ.

But from other threads I can see that if the first move gets messed up like this the system still records it as a first move. Then the 14 day hold seems to kick in, as does the 5,000 charge for moving a second time.

Wisefire, report this to support and ask them to reset your move count to zero.

Alcraigh, I was only trying to point out that this is in fact a bug/problem and Wisefire needed some good information which I feel you didn't provide. Instead you just told him to pick another spot. Not exactly constructive, was it?

The kid was obviously able to work out his options - contact support, which he did. Nothing more constructive to add except to tell him the reality of the situation = pick another spot or stay put. I'd like to see you add something constructive to his issue Baldrick, because I'm yet to see anything of the like in your posts so far.

You obviously haven't bothered to read many then.

Hi All,

The issue was already resolved this morning. It was down to a small bug that was not blocking spaces to prevent new players spawning there. If you were unable to move you castle contact support and they will help.
