I lost 180 troops last week... sent mail to support with details.. no response...
I sadly have purchased rubies in this game...silly really... but for sure I will not spend real money again... bugged game, no support...
2 others in our small alliance claim the same happened to them... its very common it seems..

I know that often happens to alot of people. Try to be on when they reach the castle so you can see if they are coming back.

I sent approximately 40 units to retrieve a relic.
When I logged back on, not only were my units lost, but the relic did not appear in my inventory like they said it would!!

Fix the damn problem and new threads won't get opened. This has been going on for months, I've turned in at least 5 reports and have not been contacted back once. Your support is a joke and customer service is non existent.
Before you ask, the first ticket I turned in was 8/28/2012 over 2 months ago, and when i check the ticket on your support page it just say the ticket has been processed. Give us some answers!

Before you try blaming us for the problem i would suggest you check your email. In total you have submitted 5 tickets to support and 4 of them have had a response from a support agent that you have not responded to. The 5th ticket only arrived an hour ago and has not been assigned yet.

I'm just really wondering. What makes it so hard that this bug hasn't been fixed in over 2 months time since the first people started complaining about it?
It happened to me for the 5th time now and frankly, I'm getting sick of it. If at any point in development a function starts failing, you temporarily disable it and start fixing it asap. If the developers don't understand that, I think they might need to follow some courses on software projects and product development.
As you might understand, attacking is -the- core feature of this game. If such a bug was in place with the production of wood, for example, it wouldn't be as big a problem, as it only aids a very small bit towards the main goal: becoming the strongest player by destroying those who oppose you.
Let me make a metaphor for this:
It's like a car company that sells cars that look good, have a good interior, the built-in navigation works perfectly, etc.. However, every now and then when you're driving it, your car just loses all its fuel, making it impossible to use the car for what it's designed to do: driving. In the meantime, the company offers you the amount of money the fuel cost you after some time so you can go get yourself some new fuel and doesn't make any improvement on the fault causing this problem.
Would you keep the car?
And, thinking outside of the metaphor, would you keep on playing this game?
I'm still giving it a little more time, but if this doesn't get fixed very soon, I'm out.

I check my mail every day and the only messages I got were infomails saying the tidkets have been created and be paitent.

Well there are alot of pages to this lost troop problem. Have lost 5 groups of troops myself which means all growth stops. Dont care what anyone says not going to sit watching a screen for hours till they return or something builds .So if they fix this just getting troops back is not enough.

can i blame you guys? i lost them while i was logged on, not while logged off, i just contacted support, as it just happened, and if you want to know exact numbers here too, it was 91 two handed swordsmen and 63 heavy crossbowmen. not happy, but can wait for response, and hope i get compensated for my loss
Edit: well now they show up, 10 minutes after they disappeared from the travel overview, and weren't at my castle. they must have gotten sidetracked or something

well i really think my troops hate me i put all this stuff in castle to make them happy yet 4 times yes 4 times now they have deserted me any were from 40 men to 300 this bug is truly redicoulos and to make it worse i contacted support every time i think i got 40 troops back once cant really confirm that but they have never messaged me with any response. good game empire ? bad game support.

hey i got an idea why dont u let us know like 2hours ahead of time in the game game so maybe we have a chance of getting our troops bak in castle i lost more troops this morning everytime u guys shut down and my troops are out i lose them this makes 5 times and support hasnt done a thing 5 times i contact them so were's my troops? 5 times over 2 monthes thats awfully excewssive and i never got any of my troops bak good game ? bad game support....

i lost my troops on november 21 2012 at about 9:00 am 50 of my troops were coming back with 415 of each res then you guys went off line and about 11:00 am you guys came back online but i didn't get the res and my troops were gone what happened
