You cannot enter any input in full screen mode (through game settings). Fine. So what's the use for playing in full screen mode when I can't:
* chat with my alliance mates
* enter x/y coordinates for a search
* type a players name for a search
* Enter exact values for resource transfer (although the selection box isn't greyed out like other areas. It lets you click the box, it displays '0', but won't let you type anything). It will let you use the slider though
* Anything else I am missing
I'd have to exit full screen mode, do the things i want to and if i am not tired already moving back and forth, go back in full screen mode.
When trying to send someone a message, it will auto-exit full screen mode but will not auto-reenter when i am done sending
ps: Tried a search for 'full screen' in bugs section, but the few relevant posts that came up made a refference to an extra bar, thus reducing the available view space and the recommendation was either to play from GGS site or go in full screen mode (notice the endless loop with the latter one?)

you can Play on empire.goodgamestudios.com and press F11 for example...

maybe they should remove the function and just leave the button with a tool-tip 'Press F11 to go to full screen'
