I know this question has been asked A LOT, but when I contacted support I received a different answer.
I asked support if they can help me setup my account so I can play the game at school with some of my friends.
I sent this message to support:

Can someone message me back and give me a definite answer? Is it possible to play on a network where someone else is playing also? I don't want the system to think I have to account and ban me for it.

This thread says that I can message support so that I can play without getting banned. I want to play this game at my school, but I am not sure if someone has created an account or played there before. I didn't want to risk getting banned for it seeming like I had multiple accounts.

that is possible, because it is against the game rules. We don't ban automatically in all cases, but if the server detects it, it is likely that you will be banned.
