Well pretty much what the title says. I have heard young teenagers listening to a song first aired in 2001 and one of them commented : that is so ancient . Lol am I ancient too then? I was 6 years old then.

Everything is relative to the person involved.

The song itself would obviously be 19 years old.  By music standards, that is getting up there.

But, if you have never heard it, it is new to you!

I bet the music that was playing when I was 6 years old would be classified as old...…….

00's has some of the best music.

On a side note, The Beatles will always be good.

For me, 80's music will always  hold a special place.  But, I also appreciate the music my kids listen to and can hear the influences from the prior generations in the current.  We were just talking about the development of Punk and the influences of Speed Rock from back in the day.

Just remember that New Wave is "a totally different head.  Totally"...…..
