Upon a roan horse brave
A once proud leader will rave
Over the people who died
And those for whom he cried
He was sad for those he had slewn
And those from who he had flewn
A once tall man
He is now a broken man
A dented crown upon his head
And at his feet, a loyal soldier fallen dead
A battered blue sword in his hand
It was no sword-on-demand
In the ruined valley of a king
The valley’s defeat bells ring
As his battered army wails
He eats his only food, roasted ox tails
In the burning barracks
The melting weapons begin to crack
A bow and arrow start to sizzle
As the hair on a dead defender starts to frizzle
