Part 8, I do something incredibly stupid, it’s called free falling to my death.
We were all at the top of the sky lift, and I was shivering and cold. It was much colder at the very top of the mountain. There was another ski lift that took you down the mountain, and I was really considering going on it. BUT looking over to Carson, I stayed to make sure that he didn’t get himself hurt or into trouble. After all, Tiny and Jake gave us weird looks, and Jake sounded really suspicious when he said this was going to be a memorable trip. So yes I am a bit concerned. The wind had picked up now, and I could see some darker clouds in the distance in the western direction. Hmm, I bet that is the second round of Blizzard coming. “All right who wants to sled down the mountain first?” Tearoy grinned, holding up his massive snowboard that was meant for tall people like him. Me, I would never get on one of those things cause I know I will fall on my face, and probably get snow burn. “Yeah! I am ready to sled down the mountain!” Carson grinned, holding up his yellow snow board. Ray, and Jason did the same. Basically I was the only one who picked the good old fashion sled. Figures, but that meant that I was unique.
Jake was about to say something when Tiny spoke up “I am afraid that none of you are going to go down that mountain.” That shut everyone up as we all turned to stare at him. “And why not?” Tearoy interpreted, scratching his head. “Because,” Tiny spoke as he turned his back toward us, “I cannot allow any of you to live.” Carson’s eyes went wide. “HUH!? Are you nuts? Or are you joking?” Tiny turned around and grinned his teeth. “I am DEAD serious.” Suddenly, he whirled around with his snow bored and tried to hit Tearoy over the head with it. But he blocked it by holding his own board in front of him. CRACK! “TINY! What are you doing?!” Jake hollered, ducking from another massive swing from Tiny’s board. Tearoy once again intersepted it. CRACK! Jake ended up rolling into me, but didn’t even knock me down. Instead, while Tiny and Tearoy were ducking it out, I picked up Jake by the collar and l “I KNEW IT! You’re just like everybody else I’ve met! You’re evil and out for revenge huh? And I bet you hired Tiny to assassinate us!” “What? What are you talking about?!” Jake screamed back at me, tears filling his eyes.
“FORGET YOU! I’ve had it with punks like you!” Throwing him down to the ground I made a charge for Tiny. Holding my sled out in front I was about to whack him in the head when suddenly, he disappeared! So instead, Tearoy hit me in the face with his board. WHAM! Flying backwards into Carson, we both fell to the ground. MAN THAT HURT! Rubbing the pain away from my nose I yelled at Tearoy “WATCH IT YOU BIG LUMMAX!” “SORRY Kate but look!” Getting up off of Carson, we both looked in the same direction. Tiny was right on the edge leading to the dangerous left flank of the mountain where the Dynito River was. And he was gripping Jake by the collar! “PUT HIM DOWN!” Carson growled, getting into a defensive position. “Why don’t you come and get him?” All right that’s it! I’ve had it with people like Tiny tricking and hurting my friends and me all the time! Without thinking, I made a charge for him, sled over my head to try to hit him in his chops. And this, is where I did something stupid.
I rammed into Tiny, but he didn’t fall down. Instead, he threw Jake (who screamed) over at Tearoy who managed to catch him with one hand. “KATE! GET BACK HERE!” Carson hollered at me, but I didn’t listen. I began to try to fight Tiny, but I was way in over my head. Slamming my sled down, I managed to hit Tiny over the head with it, but it didn’t do that much to him. Instead, he growled, and punched me in my stomach. I went flying backwards into the snow, rolled over once, and flipped back on to my feet. That’s when things went from bad, to worse. Right when I got up again to try to give Tiny another blow, Tiny ended up giving me a blow to the head. I went flying, but this time, I didn’t feel the ground underneath my feet. Rubbing the pain away from my fore head, I looked down. OH, my GOD!
Tiny had shoved my right off in the drop off that lead to the Dynito River! I AM GOING TO DIE! After all, the drop was about 600 feet downwards, and the Dynito River is a little shallow, only about four feet deep. “KATE!” Yeah yeah I know. I got myself into trouble again. The air that was waving past me blew off my hat, scarf, and whipped my hair around and around. That impaired my vision a bit but maybe I can still get it out of my face in time before I hit SPLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The water. The sound of rushing water totally filled my ears as I went down to the bottom of the river. GEEZ THIS IS COLD! Kicking up, (and maybe the river was a little deeper than I excepted, it’s about 8 feet deep. Well that’s probably from all the snow we’ve been getting). Kicking my legs hard, I surfaced but my snow gear dragged me down again. The water was really freezing, my nose started running, and my limbs were freezing up. And I’ve only been in the water a few seconds! The current continued to drag me down under the foaming water. Kicking up for the third time, I surface in just enough time to see some sparks shooting down the ice blue side a of the mountain drop off, what in the world?! SPLASH! I went down again. Well, I NEED HELP!!! I AM GOING TO DROWN HERE!!

Part 9 time................... Oh my God seriously? A water fall?
So here I am, struggling to breathe, and trying to swim up to the surface again for like the 8th time. Those sparks were still shooting down the mountain wall when I surfaced again, but before I went down again I heard a gigantic SPLASH!! Right now though, I didn't care at the moment because when i went down I forgot to hold my breath. And to make matters worse, I had entered a section of the river where there were rapids. Looking up from from where I was at (which was about 3 feet under the surface) I could see the foaming bubbles that were at the top of the surface itself. The suction of the water was tremendous, every time i desperately tried to swim up the section dragged me down again. Until that is, I felt something or someone grab the collar of my jacket just before I blanked out from lack of oxygen.
SPLASH! "COUGH COUGH HACK! GASP! WHEEZE PATOOWIE! BLEAH!" I spat, literally puking up the water that had gotten into my throat, nose, and down in my lungs. "Try to puke the other way will ya?" a deep voice growled. Next thing i knew, I was moved over to the left a bit and my right arm was positioned around that persons neck and i was riding on their back. RUbbing the stinging cold water(which I have still not gotten used to) I could see the back of the persons next was blond with blue, and purple highlights. Oh wait a second, It's Carson right? MY left leg brushed up against something that was around Carson's right hip. Squinting to see below the foaming water surface, I could see the object was dark blue, with four holsters hanging down from it. Oh wait a minute, "Kami?" I gasped spitting out more water.
"That's my name, but please take a message after the beep while I try to swim against the current, to get you out of the water please. Beep." OH god does he really need to be humorous right now? "Kami you can't possibly swim against a current!" "I could, if you would take off all your snow gear to make yourself lighter!" Kami spat, Sprint some water out of his mouth as he tried his best to swim upwards. "What?! I'm not taking of my.." I started to scream, but then I saw that Kami had indeed removed all his snow gear except for his boots. So he was right down to his dark grey sweatpants, and dark green tank top. A tank top? Seriously? Carson wore a tank top today? God that boy has to learn some fashion sense. I could see that Kami was shivering like mad, but he just kept trying to swim up. So i guess i shouldn't be selfish right now. After all the guy is trying to save my life from the stupid mistake i made. "All right i'm taking it off." Slipping off my heavy wet pink jacket, and gingerly taking off my snow pants and pulling them off, the pair drifted down the river so quietly, I didn't even have time to see how far they went down the river. "Thanks." Kami grinned, turning his head around so he could see me.
I smiled back. But as Kami kept swimming, it just seemed like we were getting farther away from the icy mountain side cliff, not closer to it. Then, a great roar filled my ears. Looking back I could now see where my snow stuff went. It went, off the edge of the river? Wait a second, edge of the river? The roaring grew louder, and the current became faster. Kami lost his swimming power for a second and we were dragged back a ways with the water. But soon he started treading again. "KATE! CARSON! LOOK OUT FOR THE FALLS!" Jason shouted from up above the mountain cliff. Looking up I could see him, and Ray, Jake, and Tearoy were still trying to fight Tiny. I guess they had enough time to warn me and Kami that there were Falls? Oh no, WATER FALL! That explains teh roaring. Boy Kate, I think all this cold water is messing with your brain.
"KAMI! There's a water fall back there! And by judging from the way the water is moving so fast, it's a really high steep dangerous one!" I hollered above the roar off the falls. "Yeah I know Kate, i'm trying my best to swim against then" WHOOOSH! Suddenly we fell over the Water fall! And well, I ended up screaming in a small child like high vice "YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Throwing both arms around Kami's neck (and still screaming) i closed my eyes for a second. The roar of the falls, plus the roar of the wind was tremendous! It was like the sound of a thousand jets flying through the air! My hair was once again whipping around my face, and when I looked downward I could see sharp, pointed, deadly rocks that were at the bottom; they were waiting to impale us both! SHINK! Oh now what? Looking up again, I could see that Kami had unsheathed all four of his swords. As we continued to tumble, he place the sword with the all white and navy blue stripe handle, in his mouth, then placed two in his right hand, and one in his left hand. Then, using the drag from us free falling as an advantage, he drifted us closer to the mountain cliff of the water fall.
Tilting his head to where the blade in his mouth was pointing in the left, Kami did something that explained the sparks i saw earlier. He literally plunged all the blades he was wielding in the Mountain wall. It made a horrible screeching sound fora while, and sparked started to fly everywhere. I have a question, 3 actually, how was this supposed to save us from certain death? How does Kami still have those swords? Carson didn't have the dark blue hamraki or the swords earlier. And finally, and finally, what is that jerk Tiny part of? Is he just a bully, or is he something else. But right now, I got to concentrate on staying alive while crazy boy Kami does some more fancy sword work I guess. This should be fun........... not.

New deadline for part 10, is going to be Tuesday after school. I got a little busy today, helped my mom make some jelly! Crab apple jelly that is. It's very tasty. NOM NOM NOM. Part 10, Lights is back
The cold water was continuing to drench me as Kami tried his best to climb up the mountain side. HE was carefully, but strongly forcing his swords to go in and out of the mountain side, one (or two) right after the other like Mario plunging his way up a building. Every time he raised his arm upward and stabbed into the mountain again, he at the same time lifter himself upward with the swords in his left hand. Then he did it again, but in reverse, stabbed with his left, lifted with his right. All and all we were climbing at a steady rate. OR should I say, he was climbing,. Right now, I was like a dead weight to him. I mean, what good was I? I was feeling really low after trying to attack Tiny but failing, and then making Kami come to save my butt, and now making up scale up the mountain with me clinging to his back. I mean, I just felt really awful. So awful, I started to think that maybe I ought to jump off of Kami’s back right now, and let the rocks take me out. No Kate, don’t talk like that. You’ll make up for this sooner or later. I made a promise to Kami that I’ll figure out who he is, and by George I will!
Finally, Kami decided to use two swords instead of 4 to climb upward. He must have been getting tired of carrying two swords in each hand, or he just thought it’ll be easier to climb with just one in each hand. The only disadvantage to that was it would be more likely for Kami to lose traction with one ot the swords when he stabbed it in the mountain. Moving my right leg out of the way, I let Kami sheath two of the swords back into their holsters around the haramaki , then he continued to do what he was doing. The rocks were shockingly cold to the touch because of the falling water, and there was yellowish mold growing on them. Some of the mountain side had eroded away, making it weak and soft in some spots. How did I know that? I could tell this my gingerly reaching out my hand and scratching some of the rock away. It came off really easy in medium sized chunks. That can’t be good. Well as Kami stabbed the side of the mountain again with his left sword, the sword slipped because of the weak binding of the rock.
His left arm swung out underneath him, barely missing cutting open his waist. But this caused us to swing heavily to the right, with only Kami’s right arm taking both our body weights on one sword. His blue eyes went wide and I had screamed a little bit from the swaying, but soon Kami got back on track and brought his left sword up again and stabbed the mountain in a different place. Once again, we were on the move climbing upwards again. But how much longer was it going to take? I mean falling down a mountain water fall is easy, getting up is apparently not so easy. Just as I said that, suddenly more and more water came pouring down on us. You know what that means right? Yep, we were back on top of the water fall; with a whole bunch of freezing foaming water going right over Kami’s legs now since he had successfully pulled himself upwards to a standing position; Despite the power of the rushing water coming at him, and that I found impressive. “So what do we do now?” I asked, “Can I get off your back? It must be hurting by now.” “It is, but to get you back up there I have to jump.” Kami smiled, turning his head back to see me.
“Jump? Down the waterfall again?” I squeaked as Kami slid the other two swords back in their places and slid his right foot behind his left at the same time. “No. Jump as in, this. So you better hold on tight.” Kami growled playfully. In one moment, Kami took a tremendous leap forward and we sailed through the air. “YIKES!” I screamed, grasping a tighter hold of his neck. Kami had jumped over to the icy mountain left side cliff of which I tumbled off of. Then, he kicked off of it with his left foot and we started sailing toward the right side. One there, Kami kicked off it with his right foot, and we sailed back the left. He repeated this until we got higher and higher up the Cliffside. It must have been a lot of work for him with me on his back, but to me this was a BLAST! It was just exhilarating how he kicked off one side, and then we raced back to the other at high speed. Honestly I don’t know how he can even do that considering the length from the left side of the mountain to the right side were about 600 feet apart from each other. Finally, Kami did one massive bounce off the right side of the mountain, sailed high into the air and we landed on top of the mountain near the ski lift. And Kami landed right on his feet, perfect like a cat.
“You can now get off.” He smiled, letting me off his back. I stumbled a bit, but I was happy to be on soiled ground again. And just in time too. For Tiny was beating the crap out of Teroy. I could see that Jason, Ray, and Jake tried to help him, but they themselves were on the snowy ground; their snow gear was torn and ragged, their faces battered, bruised and bloody, and they looked knocked out. Tearoy however, had very little injuries from what I could tell, except for a bloody nose, black eye, and a few bruises. But Tiny, he was untouched! Unharmed! “TEAROY!” I hollered over to him, “Need some help?!” Tiny flew another punch at Tearoy before I heard him answer “NO KATE! Get away! There’s more than just Tiny here!” “What do you mean by that?” I asked as I started to run over to him, but I was stopped by Kami. He had grabbed ahold of the back of my pink fuzzy shirt, and was glaring hard.
“I don’t want you getting hurt Kate. Let me take care of it.” “I CAN HELP HIM! I know I can!” I protested, glaring him back. “Yeah, and risk falling off the mountain side again? Anyways, Tearoy, what do you mean by others?” Kami yelled, as he reached his left hand down to his haramaki. But Tearoy couldn’t answer. Instead, he was pinned hard to the snow by Tiny, and got the air knocked out of him. Just then a booming voice yelled from behind me and Kami “I think your friend means me!!” Startled we turned around to find two familiar, but scary faces. “Oh, for the love of God!” Kami growled, really reaching for his swords now. “No, I- I thought you were dead! We killed you at least 3 times you Freak! And I don’t even want to get started on you!” I screamed, putting my hands over my mouth in shock.
“Oh but it is me Kate. And we came back just in time to finish you off.” He smiled showing weird ,spiky teeth. The wind picked up greatly, and it started to snow again. Lightning flashed and thunder boomed. I had to squint to keep starring at my foes. I forgot that the second round of the blizzard was coming. But that doesn’t matter right now. And you know who those foes were? It was none other than Leon Neon (Or as I like to call him Lights. I made a rude comment about his last name a while back that was something like this “Hey Leon Neon! Are your lights too bright? And thus that started this whole Revenge thing.). The other guy, or should I say, Gal was stupid Victoria Winters. Ah great. Now what’s going to happen now that these dorks are here? Wait, Victoria is a gang member of Leons. And Tiny over there is still beating the crap out of Tearoy, but did that mean that he was a gang member to?
part 11 is where things really start heating up. How was this? If you have any issues please tell me. I'm glad i was able to finally have some time to write! It makes me happy.
