Topic: [108650] Three USA1 alliances seek a well-managed alliance family

[-108650] Hobee [None] :: June 26, 2014, 3 p.m.
I write on behalf of three USA1 alliances, very close to each other. They've got nearly all mature castle Lords, who know about the system, combat mechanics, etc. In fact, they know enough to coach others.

Hence, they don't want to be in a sub-alliance...these people are looking for a well-managed, mature alliance family to join, as equals.

If you represent an interested family, then (to get fastest consideration) please don't reply to me here and don't even post anything here at all. Rather, contact me, Hobee, in the world of USA1.

Here's the key: the three alliances I represent want a family that maintains a public external website, listing all its member alliances for everyone to see.

The only two USA1 families we're currently aware of, with public external websites--the Neph family and the Legion Of the Free family--do not list literally all member alliances online. Only some are listed. This is perceived as a problem, because it leads to too many unrelated alliances falsely claiming to be in such families, when they aren't. This is taken to be a sign of poor management (i.e. poor website maintenance).

Seriously, there's no downside to listing all member alliances--right? It would encourage teamwork and prove that the boss of the family is actively aware of its status, and its depth.

So, that's what my local set of alliances is looking for. If it exists? Drop me a line...thanks.

Maybe, just MAYBE the alliances not listed are not affiliated and are just using the neph name without consent.

Ever thought of that?

Well, yes, of course. That was one of my points.

After all, the Neph family's website itself claims that its list of member alliances is "UNDER CONSTRUCTION". This (temporary?) lack of accuracy lets unrelated alliances get away with telling lies, as you described.

But if you're trying to say that the Neph family deserves credit for at least trying to keep its list fully accurate...then, sure, we can give it credit for at least trying. It just doesn't seem to be there yet. Hence the disclaimer, "UNDER CONSTRUCTION".

If and when the Neph family's website is no longer "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" then the Neph family could be perfect, I think.

Assuming that particular family's still open--which I think is not the case, however!
