Is Everwinter a permanent world, unlike the Storm Islands and Underworld, which only lasts a month?

Can a player lose their main castle?

How does a castle go to ruins, and why can't we attack the ruins?

What do the small wide black arrows on the world map mean ?

when it goes to ruins they havent logged on for awhile and their castle is about to be deleted outposts are fair game
