I have spent most of the morning trying to find an answer but have had no luck. ... I received an alliance invitation that looked interesting but while checking a few things out, the invitation disappeared. How do I get back to the invitation?

I am not sure but it shouldn't disappear, it would be in your messages til you accept or refuse unless, maybe, if the alliance's enrollment filled up in that time, it may have deleted the invitation. what was the name of the alliance?

go to the rankings list its the button next to your messages looks like colored blocks, or a bar graph, sort of. then click the alliance tab and then enter the name of the alliance in the search box to find them

Thank you. The search worked for "The Druids". The options were limited to non-aggression pact or declare war and I'm not declaring war on an alliance after only three days. Thanks again ;-)

By the sounds of it your already in an alliance as if you were alone you wouldnt be able to declare war. You have to leave one before joining another

Can I recommend you join the alliance I founded called Alignment, they will teach you how to play GGE!
