Hi all, for those who feel like the most fun times on the server were the 80-army mass attacks, the fires, the chaos and the mayhem of rampant PvP, I have created a new alliance for funsies called Thors Hammer.
The only requirements is that you don't mind being burned and want to get involved in PvP. Event positions will happen fairly naturally over time, there will be no loot requirements, no level requirements, just play and have fun.

You are bringing it back to the old days when the best troops to have were the Vets, there were no commanders with special pieces, when there was an even playing field (almost anyway.) This might appeal to those who lust for the old days when players weren't afraid to be hit and didn't mind taking days to put out fires. There are too many tournaments, where the goal is to actually amass the largest armies that you can feed just to hit the foreigners/bloodcrows. Those days of real glory points have long since gone though fuji.

And on that note, we've now introduced our first and hopefully only target set for the alliance, which is based on honour.
800 base target
L37 -> 1100 (moats and extra tools available)
L51 -> 1400 (extra tools available, max pre-70 troops)
L70 -> 1700 (self-explanatory)
HoL 120 -> 2000 (5 waves)
HoL 360 -> 2300 (6 waves)
HoL 550 -> 2500 (Maxed)
"WTF?" I hear you cry! "Honour is worthless, why on earth would you build any system around a stat that is almost meaningless!" Well, the answer is simple. We want players to hit other players. Having a target of points you earn by beating real players and can't earn any other way will hopefully help with this. Target selection will naturally gear itself towards picking decent targets as well (no farming children and the infirm, we're supposed to be warriors here), and we do have a rule of valid targets being those worth honour (which is basically everyone who is 700 less than you and upwards) to make up for not having a daily hit limit or a distance limit or cooldowns or pretty much most other rules.
So, for those who haven't yet seen us yet, come join the fun - don't forget to bring your best battleaxe. We are independent, we have already had 4 wars (although 2 of them were mostly posturing and an attempt to scare us into submission which didn't work out so well, ending with an agreement to disagree on what constitutes "fair play"), we will not dictate to other alliances what they should do, but reserve the right to respond in whatever way we see fit.
Remember mead keeps you warm and fires keep you warmer, and best of luck to all on those battlefields

Sure does sound fun, haven't been in this alliance but friends with fuji - would recommend this alliance to anyone who finds the way that other alliances play the game boring
