I'm the leader of a small alliance whose levels rank 17-legendary level 69 with 15 members, any advice?

Depends on your goals. Are you happy with your placement in events? Are you worried about getting in over your head in PvP? Do you have friends in larger alliances that can help you out in a pinch?

Depending on these and many other factors, you may find it great to stay independent, or you may want to seek out a merge.

There is no one right answer without more info...........

like wasso says you need to decide what you want to be as an alliance - having been leader of 2 alliances now it pays to ask your team what they want - you may want to affiliate with a larger alliance as a "training" wing and gain their advice etc.

But my general advice is defences first - including castellians - and try not to level up to quick - because some alliances like to declare on smaller ones for "practice" - which in real terms means looting you for all your resources and assets !

I agree about the top preying on resources and awards. In fact, I’ve been on 2 alliance prior to Warrior Nation, but I see the same problem. It’s the leaders and their fellow servants who seem to have a heads up on level 70 and on.
