They abound in this game. The latest and most hilarious have been the ones being spread by members of an alliance we are at war with and others who buy into the nonsense. While we normally just laugh at the ridiculousness of the conspiracy theorists' accusations, we are losing our patience, and with this latest round of such vitriol - we decided to put the lies, rumors, innuendo and conspiracy theories to rest.
THE ACCUSATIONS:
It is accusations that Members of Invictus Clan are Cheating by taking advantage of so-called access to user information by our members who are moderators. Cheating is something we abhor and will not tolerate our Name being sullied by untruths - no matter how ridiculous they are.
THE TRUTH:
GGS moderators are external staff. They are volunteers that give their time freely to help out in the forums to keep the forum orderly.
Moderators:
HAVE NO EXTRA POWER OR CONTROL OR ACCESS TO USERS GAME ACCOUNTS.
THEY CANNOT CONTROL ANY ASPECT OF THE GAME
THEY ARE JUST LIKE ANY OTHER REGULAR USER WHEN PLAYING THE GAME
Invictus Prime Clan is an alliance in the empire game just like any other alliance and just like 4 or 5 other alliances Invictus Prime has a couple of moderators in it.
THE CONSPIRACY THEORY:
INVICTUS PRIME CLAN timed the begining of its last war, CODE NAMED: OPERATION RED MIST, with a GGS prime time ruby purchasing promotion to try and get people to buy rubies, and we called it Red Mist because of Rubies are Red.
Really? Perhaps the next we will be accused of is being from Mars, it IS the Red planet after all. For those who care for the truth - Google the Name Red Mist & Patricia Cornwell and you will get the kind of twisted sense of humor that our Queen & Founder DragonSmolt has. Red isn't for Rubies Red is for Blood - the blood of our enemies that we happily spill in a war.
Further, GGS will tell you that their prime time Ruby sales campaigns are controlled by a computer program and is totally random and not even the Paid internal staff such as Community managers, know when it will get activated, far less to be able to share that information with Volunteers Staff such as Moderators
These rumours are being spread by players who having lost a war fought fair and square are desperate to come up with reasons for the failure of their leadership, their members and their own failure to play the game well. They are simply sore losers. They are in denial and are clutching at any straw as they drown in their own moats. It is unfortunate that players feel that they have to resort to creating such a conspiracy theory when in fact all we as an alliance do is co-ordinate and plan and work as ONE well-oiled fighting unit. In fact what we do is use the knowledge that is available to everyone in the forum and co-ordinate and plan well, for which we make no apology. Our only failing is for being talented in our planning and co-ordination and the unity which makes our alliance a strong one.
Yes, we take this game to a level perhaps beyond what most alliances bother to do. But Cheaters we most certainly are not. You may visit our site and read our Code of Conduct to understand that we do not tolerate cheating or multi-account or other nefarious acts that give an unfair advantage in the game.
