I have accidently appointed an inactive player in my alliance to the new leader, and do not know how I can be the leader again ..
Norsk: jeg har med en uhell utnevnt en inaktiv spiller som ny leder i alliansen min og vet ikke hvordan jeg skal bli lederen igjen, for spilleren er innaktiv og kan ikke utnevne meg som lederen igjen

Wait until he turns to ruins,if you are the only general then you will become the leader(The leader is selected at random from the generals.

Hey Mr.Hixt. That’s a problem you have there. There are different solutions to this problem. You can decide which is the right solution to your problem.
Solution 1:
Ask the player you have created the new leader to appoint you again to the position of leader. But as
the player is inactive that shall not be the solution to your problem.
Solution 2:
Wait until the new leader becomes ruins after a long time of inactivity. This can take a long time if it is a high level player. And takes another long time if the player from time to time plays the game. Also if the player becomes ruins it is not sure you will automatically become the new leader. Random a leader will be chosen when the leader disappears from the game. If your alliance has more members there is a chance they will become the new leader.
Solution 3:
If you want to be the leader you can also create a new alliance by quitting the old one. But this means also that you will lose all the updates and resources you have put into the alliance you where the leader from.
Solution 4:
You decide to do nothing or ask others in your alliance to give you one of the higher ranks they can get you. So that you can do things you want to do with your position. But they can not give you the position of leader.

I accidentally did that too, i think that you can still appoint a different player as leader from the generals if you are ex-leader

The new leader is only chosen from the generals,if there are no generals then it is decided from the sergeants etc...
