Why don't you invite members in the actual game? What if someone tries to join but you won't let them? Why not invite the player, then you won't get someone you don't want.

Publicity is useful, and I'm sure Caleb also invites players via in-game PM as well. Forum threads are just another way of introducing an alliance to the community...

Exactly Pro, people who request to join from the forum also show the qualities of good communication, thus being valuable members of the team with a high potential, an alliance of silent players isn't particularly useful as you can imagine.

Like Pro said Erik, we do invite people in-game aswell as from the forum, our thread is for extra publicity and for potential members to have another convenient way of requesting to join. And in answer to your other question, if someone applies to join but do not meet our requirements, like we state in our thread, we do have a sister/training wing alliance called Sons of Horus, applicants who have yet to meet our requirements are always free to go there

There's no reason to bump when there was another comment 7 minutes before! The forum rules: 'Double posting is not allowed, if you want to add something to your post use the 'edit' button instead.
The exception to this is if a question goes unanswered for 24 hours, you are allowed to "bump" that thread, but don't overdo it, 1 time a day is more than enough.'

Instead of just bumping, post some news about recruitment and alliance changes or something. Sorry everyone, Order of Kings is currently full, and so is Sons of Horus, so if you wanted to join Order of Kings, you can wait until more spaces come or find another alliance.
