Is attacking someone no matter what level they are fair as long as glory or honor can be obtained?

I am wondering if I am one of the few who think that if Glory or Honor can be obtained during a battle if it is fair or not?

Please give me your thoughts and do not turn this into one of those banter threads where you start arguing about bullies. Honest opinions please.
