Hi eveyone.
This is not for myself, but we have a real young player joined us, very young indeed, as much as we're trying to help he is struggling because we're so much older and he sulks if we try to guide him.
Are there any alliances that specialise in taking on younger players?
We're not going to let him go he won't survive in the game as an independent. Just wondered if that was an alliance on EN1 that would help him better?
Thanks

Yes me and my friends will accept him at Unified where we take care of all low leveled players...only one thing, he would need to move near ian-009

Ninja11222 He's not lower level, he's been donated the account from an older relative, he's level 35 but plays much younger he's finally told me tonight he's 11.
Tonight he tonated tens of thousands of resources to the alliance and then messaged me asking for soldiers in return.
My heart goes out to him he's desperate to be liked. I will message you in game the players name so you can take a look.
Thanks for this.
Jules

i play with my son and 1 of his mates they are both 10 and i am guessing the other members are young teens a couple of them have been receptive to help one just constantly tells me someone attacked him with 1500 men and he needs food for a feast etc it depends on the individual we are full but should have the rubies to increase within a week or so

Greetings Jules,
During my time in the game I have housed and nurtured a few young players with ages ranged from 10-14 such as Ajaymb, Seby7000, Soreeyadeva, Mighty Lorien and AlbertChang. I would have to look over the player in game to assess factors such as distance, but I am sure he would thrive in an environment such as OoK or OoS, where our older players can help teach him the ropes of the game and our younger players help him feel at ease
I can't promise anything but contact Smithy in game regarding the issue and hopefully we can work from there
Regards,
Cal

I'm not sure anyone specializes in a lot of young children in an alliance... I admit that sounds like a lot of work... that and herding cats. :P
However, we've had a few in the 10-13 year range and currently have one that's about 8.
I can say two things I've found work well for some kids is (and keep in mind each kid is different so these may not work)... a detailed weekly "to do" list by castle and then lots of positive reinforcement and rewards for when they stay on track.
We found telling them generic tasks of "you need to work on defense and get your castles stronger" resulted in minimal results, however if we wrote them a very positively written note telling them how great they were doing and how amazing their castles would be if they completed these tasks (and almost presented it as a mini-game for them) it worked well.
And in addition to breaking it down by castle also giving them objectives... that way they know just where they're going and you can give them a pat on the back (and it helps if the other alliance members chime in on chat their impressiveness with their progress as well).
And rewards can be attention, extra resources, perhaps assistance in getting them a village, help in finding a good attack target and helping them spy it, or if they were doing truly well, a village that came loaded with some defense tools.
May sound like a lot of "yay rah rah" work, but if not, the next time you look over, there'll be an incoming, and you'll have a castle with 0 towers, no tools and 40 level 1 woodcutters. lol

I had a few 8 year-olds in my alliance, you just have to be really enthusiastic with them, and keep encouraging them. They want to hear how well they're doing, which makes them want to do even better.

You are aware that "donated" accounts are against the rules for any age, right?

Haha too true, they do do this, that's ajaymb written all over -_- so yeah take Giselle's advice Jules! See if he responds to that sort of encouragement and attention
