If they invite you to join their alliance and you don't they will attack you daily. I recently achieved level 25 and since then have gotten repeated invites from them - even though I am already a member of another alliance that is near them. I have not responded to the invites in any way - no replies, no attacks, spying, or blocking messages. I have never attacked their members without them attacking me first, and since reaching level 25 I have not even tried to spy on any of their members' castles. To exert regular attacks unprovoked isn't fair, especially when the members attacking me are all level 50+ with 500+ in their armies. Needless to say I have spent most of my time playing the game since then repairing damaged buildings and attempting to restore my defensive soldiers. I'd quit playing, but since they started attacking me right after my protection ended I purchased a ton of rubies to quickly build up my castle strength - so I have both time and $ invested. I just want to have fun with this, and they are being jerks.

Forgot to mention that the game should make it harder for members with that high a ranking to attack players that are so much below them. If I try to attack someone whose level is less than half of mine, I lose honor and gain no glory points. Apparently, the same does not hold true once you reach such a high level, as I lose points every time they beat me, and they gain points.

Firstly downwards attacking costs honor, and I think this is regardless of level.
makes a player less likely to do it for that reason.
There used to be protection but for some reason its been removed.
Not sure if you're after advice or just having a rant BUT what do your alliance think of all this, mine would be all over them like a bad rash! We also support each other when attacked, nothing like a good old fashioned rally round to make a bully run away! Remember support can be sent as a large army or a few small ones, can be left for up to 12 hours too. I'm not sure why if you bought rubies you don't spend 5000 and put yourself back in protection until you've recovered and come up with a plan with your alliance. Failing that find a larger alliance you can make a pact with and ask them for help, some of us love a good war! Good luck hope it pans out for you!

What jules said.

I feel for you, but this is a war game and while some people have some moral codes many others just don't care at all. You are not supposed to face a group of bullies alone though, if your alliance isn't helping you should ask them or leave them, or maybe try getting a third party involved. Use brute force or diplomacy to bring the bullies down, don't just quit or you'll have handed them a victory.

I appreciate what both of you said - here are the further problems my alliance has been enduring with these guys from what I understand:
They have bullied most of the players that have joined the alliance into quitting the game - we are down to 4 members. All day today they have been attacking the alliance leader, who is a level 56. Every building in every castle they own in every map is burning - makes it difficult to assist anyone else within the alliance when that happens, let alone try to recruit new members. This is a regular occurrence, only now they can justify it because they declared war on us last week. We have attempted diplomatic efforts with them, but they apparently would rather make us pay for not being a part of their alliance. From what my alliance leader told me, 7 Realms started doing regular attacks after she refused to join their alliance and started her own.

As for the use of the rubies, I did spend some after the first attacks to set a week of protection to rebuild. That is all now gone, and I now am fairly able to sustain myself as long as they don't send multiple attacks from different members to me in one day.

In the past 5 days they have attacked our alliance at least 20 times, no fewer than 15 of those directly to our alliance leader. Not exactly a fair fight, they currently have 23 members, of which 8 are level 40 or above. We have 4 members as previously mentioned, the only one above 40 is the leader. Good advice to seek pacts with other neighboring alliances - I will try that.

Sorry to say, but admin are happy for this to happen. Bullying is rampant. Admin condone it. You need to make a self assessment of whether to call it a day in view of the experience already, or, as others have advised, join a bigger and aggressive alliance. If it means moving, so be it. An alliance with 33 or 39 members, should be your target.
If you do decide to move to be closer to your chosen alliance, Be prepared to pay Rubies if you`ve moved free once.
300 to 400 miles from where you are now, or join a strong, large, local alliance.

GOOD LUCK.

Leader has bit the dust - I think she gave up. I joined a bigger alliance that has a pact with these bozos, didn't care how far away from me they are - now they have to leave me alone, as I have been them.
