Well ive been playing a few weeks and im level 36 and in an alliance that is part of a guild that has some top ranked alliances in it.
i reached rank 50 in the honor rankings and what happens? i get attacked by 3 players in my own guild.
i got attacked by 3 players from 3 seperate alliances in our guild and one of the attackers was the alliance leader, the king!
these players are not noobs they are level 46 52 and 60
dont get me wrong i dont mind being attacked , in fact its fun and a great part of the game. Also im not complaining about the ton of glory ive received . The question i have to ask though, is why bother with being part of a guild when ultimatly it serves no purpose.
The fact is, its hard to fly like an eagle when your surounded by turkeys! and it seems to me our guild is a turkey farm.

Are the allies in the Leviathan family? Leviathan alliances are notorious for not honoring their treaties and attacking their allies. Even taking RVs from allies, I'm dealing with DarkMasterT of Leviathan 2 stealing an RV from an ally now.
Update! Seconds after writing this I was attacked with a large force by ANOTHER ally from the Leviathan Family, Srik of The Creed SG.
These things happen, some people value resources and in game honor above integrity and actual honor. Some people are uninformed or confused about who is an ally and who is not. Some people are probably drunk or stoned and just don't care. My best advice is to find a strong alliance with honest members you get along with. You can't always stop others from not honoring treaties, but you can make sure they suffer greatly when they do break those treaties.
That's the road I go.

Since none of you actually attempted to answer the OP's question, I will attempt to do so. @F1RST the point of a Guild is to provide mutual benefits to the alliances involved (both economically and militarily). Its basically an extension of the 5 pacts 5 NAAs rule GGE has in place. Both side do not want conflict between themselves, for various reasons, mainly 'security in number'.
If the Guild is well organized and honourable, committed alliances are involved, there shouldn't be any problem, or if theres is, a simple reminder should do the trick. I'm not sure which guild you're talking about, but this applies to any group: a lack of communication or enforcement of the rules could lead to an empty title, meaning some players honour the treaty, others don't because of misinformation, they don't care, etc.
Regarding your attacks, top 50 in honour for a level 36 is, tbh, way to high. If you don't have a strong relationship with the aforementioned players who attacked you, you should've expected it. I don't have much more to add on this point - more honour = more tempting target = more attackers.
Hope this helps in clarifying the purpose of a Guild!

There are number of possible explanations:
- Your alliance is an imposter alliance: some alliance leaders name an alliance in a way similar to the names of some powerful guild and then lye to their members or future members that they are part of the guild. Usually, the main alliance of the guild has in its description the list of alliances which are part of the guild or link to a web-page with such a list.
- By the rules of your guild, such attacks might be acceptable: this is not a usual rule, most guilds have opposite rules and strictly enforce them, but each guild has it's own aims and rules. So you have to learn what are the rules of your guild and if you do not like them, you should consider to change the guild.
- Sometime there are mistakes or disobedience to the guild rules, it is clear that this is not the case in your story (because one of the attackers was alliance leader), but I mention it to other readers in similar situations. In such case there is should be conflict resolution procedure setted up in your guild.
- You or your alliance has violated some rules of the guild and you being punished for that.

Thanks for all your replies, I think in all honesty i just looked a far too tempting target for these players to resist.
The temptation outweighed there need to be honorable!
As for the point of level 36 being to low to be ranked 50 im now level 38 and ranked 97,but im learning fast and that is because i push to be a high rank.
Its not foolish to be a high rank at a low level, its just a lot of hard work!

Hi F1rst, I too have the same feeling. Like members in team members there should have some indication to guild members when prepare for attack.
