No more of that update to help you plan out your castle. Here's a good method to help:
1. Get some graph paper.
- The area of your castle is shown in a graph, right? this means that you can use some graph paper to help plan out buildings.
2. Find the area of your castle so you know how much space you can build with.
- Your castle may be a cross or something, but it's not a problem. Break it up into some simple shapes, then find the length of each side of the shapes.
Formulas for this:
Rectangle: L x H
Square: S x S
Triangle: L x H / 2

That thread was just as pointless as this one. It is nice that you are trying to help math teachers but it is so much easier to just use 'blueprint mode'.

ooh! tips for newbs:
1. use all space either for production buildings or deco. all empty space is just being wasted.
2. easy way to see if you have empty space is to enter the new "plan view" from the construction screen

just put everything that is not 5*5 in a square of 4 gardens
you won't lose space with the rest
