what tools do you use when you are attacking a castle with lime powder bombs and bodkin arrows??

mantlets for the bodkin arrows but there is really almost nothing to counter the lime powder bombs except for the war horn but u need 33 of those to counter one lime powder bomb

I suggest you use your strongest range attackers with mock peasents to reduce range to nothing and use other tools to reduce wall and gate bonus to nothing. if you do this with a 90 range commander and attack all 3 sides you will loose like 60-80 troops with kings crossbow. you may only make 100 tablets after the cost of the mock peasents but you actually make coins on the attack and can make replenish the troops quickly with a kings feast or better.

The War Horn doesn't counter lpb.

Dunno how you figure that? Mind you I have come to the conclusion that war horns are essentially worseless, but enough would counter a lime powder bomb.

Poison Arrows counter lime bomb if you can get wall low enough with your commander. Put your strongest ranged men wherever you face bombs. You shouldn't be attacking melee with melee.

Ah couldn't figure out what tresiel meant by saying they didn't counter. Guess it is one of those nights. Only was thinking about the bonuses not what troops are used (duh moment).

I should really stop trying to think at night when doped up on cold medicine.
