Topic: [104360] if you buy a daily or weekly special ie deathly whatever troops that are being

advertised like right now , do you have to feed them unlike the shadow troops which don't require food, I only buy rubies etc when a really good promo is on.... and this one seems good but if your getting 400 extra troops and for some reason food production not great even though you have a overseer and more than enough farms etc. don't want them to desert like the last mistake I made for some.

Deathly are not like the shadow troops if you got 400 deathly than there food consumption is 2000 per hour.The deathly consumes food

i haven't bought one of these specials before but i would say that you would definitely have to feed these horrors yourself in your castles

My advice is to not buy extra-powerful troops until you've leveled up enough to support them food-wise. There is some bug in my game and I didn't get seven days of protection (only got 24 hours!!!) so I was panicking and vulnerable, so I bought the special that came with 100 Demon melee and 100 Demon ranged and food and many other bonuses. Big mistake. I didn't have the food production to feed them all and I ran out of food and LOST THEM ALL. I spent a bunch of money buying rubies to try and upgrade and build farms and hire overseers to try and save them... alas, all for naught. Don't be stupid like me and buy more army than you can handle. :-( Now my game is pretty much ruined. *sigh*

You could've just attacked other castles and focus on plundering food.

It would really help if you clikced the little i. It says the food consuption is somehting around 4.
