Do you want to get coins? Surely you don't want to buy them. So why not fight for them. First you should finish quests to get coins then buy a load of fighters. A few minutes later you should have most of your fighters done. Next attack as many castles as you can. The more castles the more coins. In a day or two you should have battle reports. At the bottom the loot will be shown the more damage the more loot. And that's how to get as many coins as you want.

1) Castles? You mean plundering? That is NOT a good way to get coins. You should be farming towers.

2) A day OR 2? Who would send an attack that lasts 1-2 days? Why?

3) The more damage the more loot? That is WRONG. You can damage 30 buildings in the castle and only get 1 piece of loot. You can also damage 3 buildings and get 20k loot.
