do you have this coommander?
90ranged + 45+ battle cry "gem"?
if you have it, you need spend 2 iron mantlets and put FULL wood mantlets, send full ranged t center "4 waves", with it you have enought power and maybe -80 losses

best way to fight dragons with the least losses is to set up like this, every time.  you should have about 45 losses.

put nothing on left flank (all four waves)
middle - 3 waves of one tool cleaner, 4th wave, 28 wooden mantlets and full ranged troops
Right - ranged troops all four waves.  On first wave add 18 wooden ladders.  no tools on the remaining waves

Try it  :)

27 wooden mantlets is just enough, dragon has 31% on equipment !
Depending on the kind of crossbows used, and gems to add more troops on the sides, you might loose the first wave.
Security and check up at all time, so second wave needs 180% wall reduction aswell.

Players without a 90% long distance commander (or very very close by), shouldn't try it, if they hope to loose less than 100 crossbows.

And for the record, so far, defence is too heavy to have a clean run on the dragon.

Yes, you need send 2 waves with 18 ladders if you attack with crossbowmen weaker than KG's cross, and  10% flanks "as minium".

OR.....

use any ranged soldier "even light vets", attack only center "with mantlets", and send 4 waves of ranged units, but your commander needs at least 30% courtyard "easy to get at this level"

hum, indeed, first wave middle using 40 wooden mantles, gems to restore the 30% in the courtyard, hero for more strenght in courtyard or for ranged attack.
Still, that defence is quiet big to defeat with loosing nothing.
