How do I change the troops defending my walls?
I have old and useless troops defending my walls and I would like to swap them out for better ones

you cant change what troops are on the wall unless you move them out of your castle. the "best" troops go to the wall automatically. if you had a vet spear men and a Melee KG, the KG would be on the wall abecause its defense power is higher.

depending on what your range/melee ratio is also determines which troop goes on the wall. if you have 50/50 range/melee, and have melee defenders but range attackers and no range defense, then your range attackers will be on the wall. so set the range melee to 100% melee to get defense only on the wall

if someone sends you support, the same thing happens, the "best" troops go to the wall. so if they send KG support and you have spearmen on the wall, the wall gets the KG.

if you only have like 50 troops though, then no matter what you set on the wall, all 50 troops will be on it (assuming you have enough towers for 50 troops to be on the wall).

Also, you can use your worse troops as skirmishes, simply to tell your enemy that you are mad.
