I've so far put 500 rubies and then 1500 rubies into this well and nothing seems to be happening - is this a way of conning me out of hard earned rubies?

You have to wait 72 hours for your rubies to double.

You are actually upgrading it and not using it, to double you need 2k rubies and a wishing coin
