I am at war with a rogue Alliance.
They have made unreasonable demands (even d4emanding I join their Alliance or be eliminated).
...
They have "legacy Players" who seem to back up their claims.
...
Over the Past five months they have managed to run all of my Alliance Members out of the game.
..
Now since I will not pay an enormous tribute - they have initiated round robin raids and attacks to keep my castle in flames...
...
Now I have a "capture Attack_ in bound to one of my Outposts...
..
Force is 250 more than I have after their latest round of round robin raids....
....
What can I do? I have no one to help and I cannot join an alliance lest they take on and destroy the new alliance.
..
I don't want to quit because of a few social ingrates....
..
Can anyone help? How?

Can they actually capture my outposts and castle?

This isn't right and I goes against the original doctrine of the game.

they can capture all your outpost but not your main castle. After the capture attack if they win, you have 24 hours to attack them back and win. Also what is the alliance name and have you do anything to them? also what is you username ingame ( i am in the same server)

If you are interested in joining a better alliance for protection let me know. Being on your own can be tough.

-just pay the tribute. its worth it. you have no alliance (you said they got run out), so its not like the alliance funds need to be used
-capture attacks are attacks that capture either OPs, RVs, monuments, or labs. labs are buildings that boost production of iron (green labs), coal (ice labs), oil (sands labs), and glass (fire labs). monuments are only in green, and boost the glory you get per battle. monuments, RVs, and labs all have instant capture battles, where your troops inside each of those fight the attacking battle. the winner is the new owner instantly
OP caps are where a player sends a castellan out to take an OP. OP caps move very slowly, and can have extra men in them. if they beat your defense in the OP, they occupy it for 24 hours, where you can try and kill them. however, the alliance of whoever is stealing it can send support, and you have to kill every troop in the OP to get it back. if you or anyone else does not beat the defending troops within 24 hours, then you lose the OP
-you can either try and beat it yourself, or ask for help from anyone near you.
-they can not capture your main castle in any realm, only OPs, RVs, monuments, labs (and aqua islands). your main castles are safe
-it IS right and DOES go with the game. the game makers DESIGNED IT in. its PURPOSEFULLY there. it is all 100% allowed, you just have to be strong enough to steal the OP, and win a war if an alliance tries to war you over it. if the defender can get enough support or defense to stop the attack, then he can keep it, if not, it goes to the stronger party

As to my refernce to Legendary Player - bobjoerock is correct - I should have said LegacyPlayers.
These are the Players who put massive amounts of Cash into the game and level up quickly by spending gems/rubies at a phenominal rate.

There "Is no Defense" against this tacytic - but since it generates enormous income levels for GoodGames - it is encouraged.

I didn't do anything to this rogue Alliance.

They started the whole war thing.

Hint - Never leave auto War on. If you dpo, you only need one of a rogue alliances jr members to auto join your alliance and attack one of his buddies. Then you are automatically at war...

The Rogue Player can always just leave your alliance and rejoin the rogue alliance.

It would be nice if the game would restrict players from leaving an alliance and immediately attacking that alliance from another alliance. Even better would be a control that would prevent just such an action within say 15-days, and even then "prohibit" the rogue member from rejoining an alliance after they attack that alliance.

Anyway, I immediately contacted the Rogue Alliance leader to find out what was happening and how we were "magically" at war. His response was that "my Alliance" members were harrasing one of "his" alliance members - who had subsequently left "his" alliance. When I confronted the new member- the new member immediately quit (beacuse I told him I was about to kick him out. Then I noticed that "he" magically rejoined the Alliance.

I sent a message to the leader asking ix XXX was the member being harrassed - He responded yes (not knowing that that very member had quit his alliance and joined mine to encite a war. When I pointed that out - he just responded "Too Bad for you"....

He then went on how XXX Alliance was the most powerful alliance and that XXX Alliance owned the game, and decided who could remain and who should go. He boasted that I my Alliance would be basically eliminated if I didn't Join their Alliance and bring my members with me. It was repeatedly pointed out that once XXX Alliance decided that you should become one of theirs - you had no choice. To refuse is to be eliminated.

When I refused to comply with their "give-in - or quit" ultimatum, they launched a prolonged attack upon the whole Alliance...

Pay the tribute? Get real 50% is pure extortion - No way...

Anyway I resolved the issue by obtaining 500 hard fighting soldiers' from a beneficial player.

Little known loop-hole bug in the game play (I'm not telling how)

If you want to know the Alliance, you will have to eMail me direct. I don't provoke powerful rogue Alliances in "open Forum".

Saying that you found a loop-hole bug on the forums? Have you told goodgame moderators what the bug is and how it works? If not I recommend you do and have your troops taken away.
