The correct strategy towards the Samuri event is to ignore it. It's a distraction. Just wait till it's over and something worthwhile starts again. Unless you like wasting troops for little reward.

A good player will bash samurai hard and get the equipment as its a must have!
Keep ignoring them though, I'm sure that equipment can be replaced...somehow...

Yeah, I'm SURE these "rubbish" pieces of equipment are sooooo not worth it. Pfft, it's not like EQ is a game changer or breaker or anything like that, having this distraction is so much more detrimental to my progress as a player
