This post will be a question not solution.
So last time the beri invasion came around for 5 days we took a look at the rewards seeing that to get either the cast or comm you'd eventually have to get to the end of the beri rewards list but I don't intend to buy boosters any time soon. But then the more I looked the more impossible it seemed.
At a first glance it seems simple enough. 15k total reputation required to complete one side 50 rep (without boosters) per hit so 300 hits total. 6 days of event this time 5 last time so 50 hits per day for this event sounds easy enough yes? Well... Not quite. Bear in mind these figures will differ from person to person. I use wooden mantlets but the comm I use to hit has the max speed bonus and 300% return speed bought. on average it takes me between 9-11 minutes to setup a hit send the hit there and back after asking around some others in my alliance it takes them about 11 minutes too. Now 11x50 is 550 or just over 9 hours of none stop constant hitting every day for 6 days straight.
Pretty sure people have a life outside this game.
Now the other issue being that the setup of these camps for some reason limits the tools we can send for 68- to 30/40/30 and has such overwhelming numbers for the 69-70 camps that people wind up loosing over 100 troops per hits. Now this may not have been such an issue if it weren't for the fact that these camps only give out about 3k of gold per hit which i find makes it physically impossible to recruit enough to constantly hit without going bankrupt.
Now that this is the second time the events come around i can see that the order in which you collect gear hasn't changed meaning as far as I can see theres absolutely no way to complete 1 side of this event without buying rep booster.
The event has become spend money or you cant complete it because its physically impossible unless you have a huge stockpile of soldiers/gold beforehand and you can play this game none stop every day for 6 days straight.
Does anybody out there know of any way I can complete this event? I'm really stumped here.

The maths and what not is for one side of the beri... Doing both would mean doubling those numbers

Considered that too but due to the high loss rate of troops it becomes impossible unless like I said you have a massive stash of troops beforehamd.

I think the only way is to save any reputation boosters you get over the course of several events and then once you have a stockpile just go all out.

I agree with Some Guy5 and hamsters1.
However, my comment is that this version of Berimond is boring. Bring back the other version where we go into another place and attack the towers. It is a faster pace, the losses are less expensive and it does not detract from our missions in GE.

Now they've solved some of the issues since the troop losses are fewer with the extra tool slots. You can get enough coins to handle losses of 50/hit. All in a hit will cost 7-8k coins and you get 3k so 4k * 300 hits is no more than 1.2m. That is plausible if you hit normal NPC's in parallel
BUT the really impossible thing in my mind is where do you get the tools? For 300 hits you'll need on average 65 mantlets/hit so 20,000 mantlets. In 4 days and with 4 castles and 12hours playing time/day you need to produce 100 mantlets/hour per castle.
Now you could have 20k mantlets built before the event but that's only really possible if you sit out Nomads and Samurais for a while.

I think if you constantly hit for 6 days on end I don't think it's your reputation in the game you need to worry about... 'Shirley...are you there...Shirley...but who's gonna look after the....kids? KIIIDS? Aw... I always have my cartoon soldier friends....OH NO! Forgot mantlets again...'

I gave it a good go last time.. I got pretty far.
Then GGS remove my camps - Basically you have to buy the -'reputation boosters'
A member of ours managed it with being a bonus chest once and hitting a lot. Did it twice got both I believe over two events.
PS I still LOL every time I see your avatar @Some guy5 (GB1)
