Tbh recruitment slots arn't worth it for non-ruby player. Food overseer is much more importent. Maps are also nice to have and quite cheap up to 200% (after that they kinda get expensive for me)

Semi organised.

Merc camp = free mach's slits & fire moats.  Always look for these and get them and always be looting in the outters to keep getting rubies.

I would highlight that stables/WT and the food oversear.  To me, good stables = loot more support more alliance members and get more support when you are hit alogn with being able to support your alliance members when they are getting hit.  Realistically, dont upgrade the WT beyond old lvl4 or new lvl8.  Along with this, reasearch tower, in the research is early detection, its getting you 10-20-30% extra detection form just doing the research with reso instead of having to put rubies in.

Looting more solves food problem and in time with OP's you can hopefully get ones that have full ruby development.  Prioritise stable development in mains and outters along with WT's before the bakery and do upgrades on all stables/WT's at once when you ge tthe 10% discount.  That adds up to rubies saved as well.

BIGGEST thing that needs to be highlighted, when you do upgrade items, do the first upgrade on a low lvl stables and have enough rubies that after 10-30 mins you automatically get the 10% discount thing you can bump it up a few levels instantly.  Really highlight this as at the higher levels of upgrades its well worth it.  So instead of doign one or two upgrades have ebnough rubies so that when the 10% discount apears you can do them all 2-3 lvls or somethign but leave one at lvl1-lvl2 in some place so you can get the 10% discount cheaper later on.

Maps to 100% and put 2k in the wishing well if you have it it pays in the long run, save up I had over 12k which I spent to get two level 4 (old lev 2) Watchtowers in my main and one op, got a level 1 bakery in main castle and bought a few minor things for achievement points, only been playing over 8 days.

have at least 10k rubies and some fast travel feathers/skips when you go into sand/fire to get lev 2 stables/food up fast and send your light troops/wolves out to possible spawns (also good for looting and attacks) - I'm planning on going straight to level 3 on sand if I have enough.

Food overseer is the only justifiable weekly cost (if you loot over 5 mill a week then maybe marauder.)

You get a 10% off bonus on something just after buying it - so save up for one big spend rather than lots of little ones.

Dont use the equipment trader - dont buy ruby/armorer tools unless their really needed (except defense tools at higher levels which are a must), the master builder is worth it for your main - after level 70 work on upgrading it.

Also try and get ops with ruby buildings already in them + the construction crane/drill ground is helpful but not worth it imo.

bakeries and stables first

priorities of ruby buildings:

Bakery
Stables
Watchtower
Drill Ground
Master Building(This isn't very useful until the legend levels)
Glory Memorial
Willow of Experience

Ruby prioritizations:

1. Armourer defence tools (No mid tier tools, I'm talking about arrow slits, murder holes, fire moats only) - Very important if you want to be supported
2. Watchtower - Again, important so everyone has enough time to send support to you
3. Food overseer - Critical to sustain big armies because you produce 25% (!!!) more food
4. Bakery - Again, if you want to have huge attacking/defending armies this is important as it reduces the food your troops need (ie they consume less food so you can fit in more troops in your army)
5. Stables - Especially important to support your alliance members and to get RVs in the outer kingdoms
6. Marauder - Very good for looting... especially when samurais / nomads come about... you get loads more res and coins
7. Armourer attack tools (Breaching Towers, Heavy Rams, Shield Walls) - Last on the list because these are mostly used for FIs and PvP, while normal mants are used for the far more profitable noms/sams/normal berimond

Others:

Master Builder - Very important to have in the main castle for level 70s... reduces res needed for HoL
Glory monument/EXP Tree - Bit of a waste, really... only do this if you have LOADS of rubies... if not focus on the others
