As i do not believe in coincidences, i really think this attack was "ordered", but whatever...

Now things are working this way in forum:
- "if i do not like", someone "me ->> him" and "friends".. and "shell accounts" will flag it for sure.
- "if i like someone", it is a like for sure, even if it is something really stupid.. "me ->> him" friends and lovely shells..

The point, was to show that strategically a good commander with great bonus can also be beat by defense from regular player..
With some work, right..

Just wanted to share it, taking into account that not all of my soldiers were defense soldiers.. and my HallOfLegends not completely upgraded.. yet...

Pretty to easy to beat any commander if the person doesn't know how to tool properly.

You could have loss less if you actually really knew how to defend.

And i was a kind of offline..
If not, yes could save some soldiers...

But even so, still think the result is great..
And, i really do not consider attack was bad tooled.. but we can try to make unbreakable walls..
This is something i`ve been testing here and there.. By fully paying attention to all my defense reports and what can be improved..

It was a badly tooled attack. Again, with my hall on 100% offense, and regardless of what my defense was. He would have had -30% in the courtyard.

I don't even train defense, anyways. They just appear and never die until I starve.

Why didn't you 50-0-50 with 100% melee and lpb anyways? All you need is level 70. Not a good hall. You didn't show us your troops, anyways, lol. So who knows what you actually had.

I would be happy to take out 2500 troops with that many glory flags to lose an army. You must not know what it's like to need armies to die because you win too many.

If i saw it i would do the defense you suggest and it was appropriated..

And yes, not really in a big alliance, so do not really know what is to receive such amount of strong troops..

Honestly, at first it's fun. You can really enjoy having troops always, but eventually it's very frustrating. I'm always -10k+ at main. So I have to loot several times a day, even on vacation, or just let everything starve. I probably spend 2k rubies per day on slowdown, too. When I sleep I need to send food from OPs to keep my main alive, so can't keep ops negative, or at least try not to. Usually I just cap storm islands with no tools or something to kill them off. lol

Never said it was not a fair hit!
And, i add more: it was never my intention to take any credits out of the attack/attacker also..

For me, it was a very strong hit, with that kind of soldiers and tools.. Those are quite good tools!..
Plus with commander!.. And bonus because of tools.. Specially the melee bonus added to 90 melee commander because of the Wolf´s Howls.. Plus the incredible Courtyard bonus..
That is why i posted, for educational purpose only..

No, did not showed neither my castellan, neither my tools cause consider, at the time it was a Security Breach!..
But better thinking there goes the educational purpose.. So my Castellan in that moment, and my tools were:

So anyone, with a decent loot can have a castellan like that.. There is only one unique piece "cavalier`s breastplate" i won in level 61-69 nobility 1st prize.. The others are just legendary pieces from NPC`s..

The tools used.. Yeahh!
You just have to use rubies you loot, wisely!..

And the soldier`s used in defense.. nothing special!
And taking into account, that 862 losses in soldiers were maceman/crossbowman, plus 43 in knights of the kingsguard..
2431 - 900 for me gives only 1531 real losses in real defense troops..
So really think, it was a good defense set.. considering that i was kinda offline also, at the moment..

The Glory for the attacker was much bigger because of of the double function of tools "Tonnelon" and "Wolf`s Howl"..
And it was due to the huge amount of that kind of tools used in the attack, that my guess was ruby player.. They use to be given as a prize in Beri.. And now only in some nobility, but not in a so big amount to collect the number of tools in question //169 Tonnelon and 130 Wolf`s Howl //.. At least what i thought..
But it was only a guess..

Can we see it wave by wave? I cant guess how many shields used on each.
Loses on u are almost double bcoz CY bonus, so i dont think its a  "Security Breach".

I just am not sure if i understood what you write, but i will try to answer:

• i did not stole anyone`s "defense method".. never saw you, and never saw report you post before
  
• as i said previously i`ve been exhaustible testing defenses, not only by watch defense reports but also by attacks i made and its effects in other defenses, rather than mine..
• so i am getting to this conclusion: it is more useful to try to get a castelan with bonus for more troops to be posted on the wall, rather than a more courtyard only..
• the goal here is try to destroy as much as attack troops possible before they get in, by always trying to win the wall
• that is why instead of something like 0-0-100 i began to use more like 0-100-0 with some derivations obviously
• but first time i tried it, it failed cause the correct tools were not being used, and i just lost the wall by little difference, cause was not using the adequate defense tools
  
• so it is not only the castelan, but also the right combination of tools we use on the defense slots..
• plus the right melee/ranged setup on the walls..
• so here i am trying to get a near 90/90 castellan with 90 wall to let me space to put other kind of tools in defense slots.. //with right tools i can compensate gate and moat also//  and castellan must have a higher bonus of soldiers to be posted on the wall and some courtyard bonus also..
  
• obviously to have both i lose something.. for instance i have a great courtyard hero for castellan.. but what, it just does not destroy so many troops as i wish in the walls, so i just use it against bad tooled attacks

no, its impossible to compensate enemy tools at all. that report was easy bcoz only 3 waves, for 4-6 will be different.

about doing max damage on wall its perfect solution, but not midle. 10 more tools on midle can cover gate bonus easy, 20x10 = 200, but defender 2x75=150 eventually only if castellan 50+ gate may work on some cases, need see attacker gate too.
about stole or not, maybe i was only thinking same like u (see date of my report, 5 days before ur one).

dont destroy ur castellan for nothing, better make second one specialized on more troops on walls. ur look too nice as it is.
for others: the attack was well tooled, defend urself against that before say something. he did perfect job.
thats all.

But result was not so great by that time, cause i lost the wall:



So i my thoughts went to "not right defense tools being used"



But still so i just could compensate inside, even with some losses... So the main goal is always to destroy as much soldiers we can // this case even losing wall, i destroyed in middle 308 soldiers instead of only 256 in left/right flank.. and this can make a difference for inside battle:






So the "thing" as i said is the combination of castellan and use of right combination of tools, and we get something like:

Why do you have arrow slits if you're going full melee?
Also Fire Moats are a must in PVP
