Hi guys,
I have a question. What is the best method to attack or the best defense setup when you are not online? I already can attack really well and defend but I want to be better. Sorry for my language I am from the Netherlands.

3 limebombs and an arrow slit, 80m/20r works pretty well
or all limebombs all melee, that is probably the best but expensive
Attack, best you can do is get like an Invader or Bloodcrow com from finishing and placing top 100 in events, they are the strongest coms out there really, especially the bloodcrow now.
After that you just have to neutralize gate, wall, and moat bonus with tools and launch, Pray they dont change set up when it lands or it may not be a victory, all depends

Do you have a standard setup like:

You said.....all limebombs and all melee.....But can't I just send full on ranged with a good ranged comm (talking about 90 range comm) and take that out easily with not many losses?

I've rarely seen it broken, mainly because if you can afford to go all lime bombs, you most likely have vet flame bearers
Lime bombs add to the total strength of melee soldiers, meaning even the defensive strength against ranged troops.
So when you have I think 400% (I don't know the exact with lime bombs in every spot) strength on melee soldiers, it adds up wicked fast, especially if you can hold 550-700 on the wall like many can now.
It can definitely be broken with a super com or the Bloodcrow com, but it is one of, if not the hardest setup to break.
Lime bombs add to the total strength of melee soldiers, meaning even the defensive strength against ranged troops.

and with that cast it is even harder , the cast has the stats (usually he has ice hero + look item cloudmaker) and with that it has
90/90
120 wall
130 gate
110 moat
90 early detect
50 glory
50% on wall
86% cry
+ look item with level 11 cry gem and same guy also has a cast with ~900 ppl on the wall you can just give up wall break on that one[4816833]

Guys what's the best way to keep up you defences without wasting you resources and getting the production done before an attack?

well there is no best default defence setting , because settings have to change according to income attack right ?
while going offline , why should we put armor tools or lime ?
there is 2 disadvantage and i didnt see any advantage by offline defence
attackers can see defence and can attacks with formation which can beats
also attackers can waste your tools using dummy attacks
its better to keep fire& loot reduction castellan when goes offline
