Here's the real deal.  GGE is greedy af and wants us to spend so much money on rubies, that we literally cannot eat or live under a roof.  No joke.  The developers need to spend less time trying to figure out how to add to their profits by making the game suck.

agreed, wish they had just scrapped it all together, I mean why do we really need any free skip time

for sami and nomads , who wants to wait 4 hrs to hit a camp , talk about losing money , no one would waste money on bonus , for only 4 attacks , and just think about it this way , now you can get rid of all those 1 min skips

If you think of it it makes perfect sense. They did not go with 5 because 4 is worse. 4 is first number after 5 that is still high enough that makes it really annoying to scroll all the way to the left and then click 6 times on minute skip, also you need to use at least 2 skips to get to 4 from 10 and then still need to click free skip to get to 0. click, click, click, click, ....
