There was a pattern in the past linked to when players moved into the respective realms during the time the realms were expanding.  Essentially you held back alliance players ready to jump to the realm then had them all move together and that when the map expanded caused RV's in that area to spawn.  They were then close enough to grab the RV's as they appeared which was within a day or couple of days of them appearing on the map.  Basically tended to be when their protection ended.  Faster players used to be able to watch the pattern and then launch as they appeared.  We employed spotters as well to keep an eye out.  They tended to do one side at a time at first then that varied slightly to two sides.  Not sure how it works now with so many inactive accounts allowed to remain in the game if you want RV's probably a good idea to start pushing GGE to get rid of dead accounts faster and reshape the maps in realms.  Also you need to get rid of multi accounting so again more pressure to GGE or those guys with those accounts will just jump nab RV's in front of you and recycle them to their older accounts.  Realistically RV's prior to multi's competing for them were a lot of fun.  Given GGE failure to deal with multi's lot of good aspect of the game either don't work now, have been withdrawn or they lack the courage to actual try and address.  Window dressing like Fury's Blade is just another example of GGE continuing to bury their heads in the sand.

RV's have got to be the hardest thing to deal with in this game. It takes time. So, does acquiring 8 food outpost. It's hard to find new RV's. They spawn on the edge of the maps. I heard that they don't spawn in ICE. But, I think that's just not as much. I don't know.

I had a good majority of them once. It's what happens when a big Alliance drops you from inactivity people take your RV's. I have a few tactics on finding them but it's something that is really rare. I am too busy waring and eventing to even think of looking for them.

But, it's true. RV's are handed around. Very illegal to just take. By the complexity of their nature. Property is an issue in this game with a lot of people. Hang on to what you do get and write down all the coordinates for each one somewhere. Claim them as yours and maybe someday trade for ones that are closer. It takes a lot of effort. And, you can defend them easier if they are close to you. If they are far away from good luck.

These things are indeed a Royal butt pain. To say the least. But, are great to have in terms of resources.

Keep an Eye out... Is all I can say.

By the limits.

There is a populated-zone (The part of the map where there are players) and a non-populated zone (And empty part of the map).

New RVs will appear by the limits of the populated zone, expanding it. But you can't do much with this information, because they spawn every thousand years, and because when they do, they are gone before a rooster can say hey.

what you have to do is to watch out for players that go out into ruins, those are your best options.

If you're lucky enough, you can find a RV that was dropped by someone. When someone hasn't enough food to sustain them they'll drop. When in a war, a common technique is to capture other's RVs and drop them for other player to take.

If you're aware of your surroundings and keep an eye out always, then you'll find free RVs without having to fight (much).

Yes the reality is that not enough new players are joining the game to push the size of the maps out to trigger new spawns,  so all the RV's are monopolised by the bigger alliances, they are stored by multis / dead accounts, and are protected by their real owners.  For anyone that has ever been in an RV war you will soon work out how rv's are passed around to the shells.

The truth is now its so difficult for genuine new players to gain start to play this game, and to build their accounts up.  Realistically they have to be handed down assets  from dead accounts rv's ops etc.

The scary thing is if you are a new player that is pretty active on a server building your new account up it wont take long for you to be noticed, and before you know it you will offered anything from RV's OPS to fully kitted out fully built accounts all handed on a plate for you.

And why?  because the truth is so many people have left the game that have left their accounts to someone there are literally thousands of accounts out there that dont have drivers for them.  There are alliances with alliances literally full of dead accounts.

Thats why there are so many multis out there, thats why there are so many dead accounts out there, thats why there are no rv's no 8 food ops out there for new players, thats why players are pretty much forced to join certain alliances to progress in the game.  Thats why there is little point in building an account these days, level up reasonably quickly to around 40-50 win a few events and chances are you will be handed a level 70-800 account fully built with rv's ops and all the best equipment just gifted to you, there are so many accounts out there, and alliances are so desparate for players to use them they will literally throw them at you, if you come and play for them.

And for a new player it seems like an offer impossible to turn down, you would be crazy not to right ?  The problem is then you become a player thats not had to work and learn and build their account, invested huge amounts of time effort, and often money into these accounts, so when you have just been handed a fully completed account in your lap sure it will be fun for a while playing at a level you couldnt have hoped to in your own account.  But you will have no personal investment in the game or in your account.  These players quickly drift from the game, and why wouldnt they, they point of this game is the journey, building somethign thats yours and is personal to you, remembering all the hard work and effort.  Remembering the time you stayed up all night to win a certain event, and how you got certain decos.  all these things tie you into the game.  If you flick to the final chapter and get your account handed to you on a plate, chances are you will drift quickly from the game.

@microbabe (GB1) was always the best at predicting the spawns - its based on new players joining a new kingdom and "forcing /causing"  a spawn due in a certain area.

I'm pretty sure this was the cause of some alliance creating multi accounts as there seemed to be a lot of activity until the Rv's spawned (peaks especially) then once 1 or 2 players had the majority of the spawn the rest would drift to ruins!

we were successful for a while with the last spawns in peaks while i was at the 10th legion - but that is over 2 years ago now and the lack of new players is stopping the future spawns !

This game is so many levels ruined from new comers that I wonder does the GGS never even think about it seriously? Latest update removed FI/BC commander from lvl70 players. Wow. Another disaster was remove bigger skips.

I dont know, but im pretty sure that the high peak of new comers and who advantage far enough have seen long long time ago. Now its old ones who still plays. I wonder how long it attracts to click same same event weeks, months, years. I all ready got bored when saw what they offer now on BC/FI. Im now happy to do 500k and nothing else.

One of biggest mistakes was allow such massive multi-accounting. So many legit player suffer this. Especially those whose OP's captured by lvl 13 player. How on earth this was ever allowed in first place?

PvP should made much easier. Fix fires should not cost 10k rubies, I suggest 1000 rubies and even introduce some sort of token system, you could earn tokens to fix fires from certain missions etc. This hopefully encourages more attacks and wars. Much better than now pointless attacks here and there where you face every time 10k+ defs.

The spoken private rvs sets. Where are they? I think it was all ready one year ago when this was taken on table. Why this hasn't happened all ready? One of stupidity in this game. Like said rv's many times property of biggest allys. On my server too. I have them all, but it was years to play and get familiar with biggest players. I would be happy to get at least few right after beginning when joined map. Actually this second time when I have them all. Last time when I took long brake they was redistributed. That is how it works, folks.

There is too big cap weakest or even moderate 70lvl accounts and top 10% (Yes, lets say top 10%) Some sort of tier system would be better than good. Its funny that lower lvl player cannot sabotage higher and sometimes attack, but higher level can do it for lower. Why?

tl;dr;have a nice day!

(Yes, this isn't very funny. Best I could come up with though.)

Here's the key to the pattern they spawn in.  Whenever your mother farts, the shock wave transcends time, reality, and space, and causes RVs to pop out of the ground.  The key to get RVs for yourself? Feed her beans.

(Yes, wasn't funny. Was bored, decided 'screw it'.)

EDIT: This was a fricking Accepted Answer!?
