Hi, I fairly new and about to enter Burning Sands.
I am given a choice of going North, South, East or West and would like to know what area is best. I have a castle in Everwinter and can't get a single rv and would really like to land in an area where there are some rv's available this time around.
Any suggestions please and thanks:)

Unfortunatly there isnt really an area where rv's are available. you used to be able to time your entry into a relm so it triggered an RV spawn. But truth is I think numbers are falling not increasing so I havent heard of an RV spawn for a long time now. I dont know if thats the same on the US server though. so maybe a US player could help advise of that.
Are you in an alliance? where on the map are they? are they dotted all over or in one particular area. If you plannign on stoppin in that alliance might be worth picking a direction that will hopefully land your nearest to a few of the bigger players in there. Will be easier for them to support you or send you res etc. To help you build up.

Thanks Phil
Sadly the alliance I'm in has not answered my question of where I should spawn, nor is it very active nor talkative.
Anyone in US1 who could offer suggestions?
Thank you

Since rv's will not be a factor as Phil has mentioned what you wanna look for is dester fortresses for those I reccomend the east or west.

Is a fortress like a robber baron or barbarian tower? Or is it where I could locate my new castle in Sands?
Thanks
Thanks

Desert fortresses look like the robber baron king but sand-colored.
They spawn in a regular checkerboard style pattern around the map.
Every time you defeat one, you loot 280 rubies. Once a desert fortress is defeated, it goes into a 17hr cooldown period where no one can attack it. Thus people carefully monitor them to hit them as soon as they spawn to loot those rubies.
(The same thing applies for fire peaks, but those are dragons. They give 370 rubies, and are moderately difficult to attack if you don't know how to hit them properly.)
As far as advice goes, if no one in your alliance is very active, I suggest you join a different alliance that is active. Surrounding yourself with people of high activity is a great incentive to play more, to better yourself, and to be like them.
I haven't yet taken a look at your castles, but once I do this part will be edited.

Thank you for the explanation. The alliance I'm in is not terribly active and I see that the one you are in are at a much higher level.JYT (US1) said:Desert fortresses look like the robber baron king but sand-colored.

I'd appreciate any advice you can give with regards to my castle:)

As far as Rv spawns, there hasn't been one in at least 3 yrs in any of the lands any where near any of my castles - and I'm near the edge in all the lands.
As for your castle, double your farms, expand your walls as much as you can and fill the space with decorations
