First of all, im not an artist, but i couldnt care less if you hate on my art, feel free to make your own, i just created it to show the basic idea and I am in no way a artist, I am a lot more like a programmer, unable to explain an idea to non-programmers effectively so the images might be of help to understand
Be sure to invite all your friends to comment also, spread the idea, thats the one way to get change in the game
As many of you have noticed, the game is slowly losing its flame, We all know this is true, this may be due both to the lack of advertisement to encourage new players, and the lack of GGS's ability to keep old players. How could this be fixed? well look at the new event, with its ability to hold 128,000 players. With this is mind, i think the path to go forward in the games life cycle is creating massive merges. Though preforming the merge in green will be harder, as the boundary is less defined by the current holding of players, due to allowing teleports, the other kingdoms can be merged without any problems. For example lets look at INT1 server, every single kingdom can, at capacity, have 2178 fortresses, (although i don't know the current capacity percentages of players in other servers), but for INT1 as the current amount of fortresses is 512 for Ice, 265 for sands, and 181 for Fire, These 3 maps would allow easy merging, as just copy and pasting entire server kingdoms next to another, so the kingdoms Aren't a problem,
with this image below showing how a kingdom merge could happen (with different size servers)
since spawns are locked, and teleports are unavailable, all players are positioned in a square formation

however for green, GGE could enlarge the map, and perhaps allow for a 4th outpost to help fill up the emptiness, we have only been able to have 3 for as long as i can remember, so a change would be literally game changing, and enlarging the map could just consist of adding '-' to the coordinates, instead of there just being (500, 500), there would be (-500, 500), (500, -500)and (-500, -500). Additionally, with this the players per server would literally multiply, as there will be less various servers, with a balancing for events being more rank - based rewards, such as top 500, 100, 50, 1, etc and (0,0) can become a new, super capitol, or whatever you guys want to name it, and yet this will map the green map 4 times larger, but thats 4 times less servers you need to run individual servers
New green map layout, though there may be slight confusion in 3 of these servers, as the world literally just flipped vertically, horizontally, or even both, it will make the game more active in the long run

many various games I have played did this, such as Empire Z's eventual decrease to 3 servers (or regions as they call it)while the games are not exactly the same as GGE, there are aspects that could be used, Was it chaotic? Yes but only for the 1st week or so until everyone got used to having way more activity
Also my goal is to respond to any post, so feel free to ask anything below

I don't think that merging servers is a flextape fix here. People on small servers who complain about the lack of activity will then complain about the high level of activity, not being able to keep up with the competition thus labelling the stronger players "bullies" etc and the cycle continues.
The games dying because of stupid decisions, management, and mechanics. Before coming to play this game, I never thought a company could be so greedy. GGS sets the bar.

They merged servers with Evony - did it work?? NO!
Too many castles crammed together - the lag was shocking and only improved as people quit.
Merging servers would be the last straw for me.
Not going there - not ever again. The hassles are not worth it.
The reason GGE is dying?
Sheer bloody boredom.

Even if people did quit because of a server merge, what difference would it make as people are already quitting the game as of right now?
Problem with merging servers in GGE is how are you supposed to do that and make it work?
Many and i mean many, servers are incompatible with each other because of the culture of the the server or the languages spoken there.

People will complain no matter what, and i agree, no 'one change' will fix the game but I believe that compared to the recent update, this is a leap in the right wayOxO (AU1) said:People on small servers who complain about the lack of activity will then complain about the high level of activity,
There are many games in which it works, while there is a possibility of failure, but the game is already headed toward failure, and the tests on the Outer Realms had more players then a merge like this would ever haveAshe (AU1) said:They merged servers with Evony - did it work?? NO!

And i think the second picture explains how in a way, we could use +/- with the coordinates, and for the incompatible servers, you would still be on your own corner, so a server could keep to itself, with only wars being brought over between other servers to them,Zenzer (GB1) said:Problem with merging servers in GGE is how are you supposed to do that and make it work?

I personally dont know why there are soo many servers in the first place, the game has never been that active
i know some servers are in s stalemate so to say, not attacking others unless if its an event but this is a war game, so people shouldn't be mad about a war if thats what you mean by incompatible

for me merge is a good idea but 2 years ago som1 told me this was impossible.
definitely merge will keep some players to play or return old players.
but then many dead acc will gone. in my server for example 90%of acc are dead players the leaders keep them for RVs or loot or booster or find som1 to play but the result is :-D you guess
+1yes

I had this idea since 3 years ago when in my opinion, the downfall started, but I agree, back then it wasn't possible because the servers would crash, but look at the Outer realms, I doubt there are even 10,000 actives in a single server ATM so it wouldn't even be running at 33%, at most of what the outer realms was designed to hold.
