Topic: [370938] THE MISC - Multi-Accounting/Password-Sharing Strategy (Facilitated by MISC Leadership)

12:01 AM EST - I messaged mnight, leader of THE MISC, that cgunit's main castle in ruins will be removed from the game in 6 days.

Within minutes of this message being sent, cgunit logs into the game - after months of inactivity, such that cgunit's account had not only fallen to ruins, but was days away from deletion.

For a level 70 to be days away from his/her ruins being deleted approximates to, what, over 4 months of inactivity? For reference, here is a random castle, the ruins of which require 2+ months to be deleted.

I didn't think much of the message when I sent it, only that it would be a waste for an alliance to lose out on somewhat-developed outposts within its possession, and that - as cgunit had evidently quit the game - that THE MISC may benefit from the properties associated with the account. But I must say that the speed at which cgunit's account was revived surprised me.
I thought about this further, and became somewhat perplexed by cgunit's continued inactivity. Then I noticed his position on the map. It strikes me that cgunit is not an actual player, but a placeholder account whose sole purpose is to maintain a spot on the map near the Kings Tower located at 422:590, owned by bbb1212 from MISC: United, to prevent others from moving near it.
This is an interesting use of retirement accounts whose passwords are saved by the main alliance's leadership. They can simply be moved near critical points to clog up the map and kept alive through a single login every few months.

Old news.... until full proof ggs have done nothing those password sharers (never even heard 6hours ban for those). This game has so many multis that you would surprise if you just knew. Do you think this game attracts new players at all? Not a change. Im pretty sure almost every new account that levels up to 70 or higher is actually old player, maybe on new server or same server and just bored playing old account. (But of course still keeps the old one)

Actually they even encourage to multis, if you level up your new account fast (10 days) you get instantly vip 10 status + rubies too.

Its shame what point this game has gone.

We have a regular Sherlock Holmes here.

I heard CSI: GGE is recruiting. Please pop in an application. Masterful detective work.

We should ban all MISC members immediately.

Did a level 20 multi account just accuse me of multi accounting? Thats cute!

First, if you did send me a message, I didn't get it . Second, Cgunit was never a TM member. He was a Misc:United member, and was the former owner of that tower before 3b. Oh my gosh plot foiled! If they saw him in ruins, my guess is that they texted him. Our retirements have players who have made investments on their accounts. They may not want to play at the moment, but also do not want the thousands of dollars they spent wasted/deleted before they are sure that they are done.  That is their prerogative, and allowed. We have many players within the family who quit for a few months or even a few years and then return. Whatever they want to do with their account/ops/castles.. is up to them.
