Topic: [75260] What castle to attack

At a loss for honor, glory and loot? Need to attack soon? Need to complete the quest that tells you to plunder resources but can't find the right castle to attack?

The best thing is to attack an outpost somebody else has just captured and has no barracks (or at the least level 1 barracks). You might think there are not many of these, but believe me, there are.
But with these, you MUST REMEMBER TO ESPIONAGE FIRST. You never know. There could be troops stationed there by the main castle.

Another option is simply to attack a nearby robber baron. Although you will receive 0 honor and glory, you will get lots of coins.

(NOTE: DISCLAIM) If you go into attack and kill all your soldiers, I disclaim any loss, vulnerability or problems that occur as a result of what I say.

Another suggestion is to look for castles that are in ruins and attack their outposts, if they had any. You can tell by clicking on the ruins and seeing if there are any lines going out from there. Often you can attack more than once and still get honor and glory points besides loot, even if only "armed citizens" left. Tip: Use own outposts to attack another outpost with opposite resources: in other words, an outpost with wood might attack one with stone to gain that resource.

i almost never attack a main castle always the out posts because there is usually less soldiers and you gain the same honor

An 8 food outpost can have about 10 times more soldiers then a main castle....always go for those :)

Yes, I am finding Outposts that are abandoned by mains that are in ruins, and not too far from my castle and OP's either! Definitely a good idea to get those much needed resources.
