what are the ruby costs of shadow scoundrel
950 rubies for 10 shadow scooundrel. Same amount for 10 shadow wretches.
Also Bob, how about adding researcher as an event?

I've finally got around to adding the researcher. The list of researches is from memory - and it's been a couple of days since the event was here - so is quite dubious; confirmation or any information to add/change would be appreciated.
I've also added the new architect levels introduced a while back. I don't know the costs or time to research for any of them. If you do want to tell me a time, make sure it is the time using a level 3 keep, or at least tell me what level keep the time was related to (if you don't know, just don't mention it - the cost is the important bit anyway).
If there are any other events I've missed out or any information to add to any of it, please reply here or send me a private message. It might take a while but I while keep updating this thread.

Oops... it accidentally posted this twice.
EDIT: I've added more to the intro and it took it over the character limit (which I kind of expected). Instead of telling me to shorten the post, it did something weird and I've tried to fix it for now, but some of the guide will be looking a bit dodgy. I have all the information backed up (and it seems a couple of people have been copying my work anyway - not that that's necessarily a bad thing) and will try and fix things tomorrow.

Oh, in one of the last updates the marauder event was changed, I'm not sure how much as I was not on-line to see the event, all I know is that it was changed.

First, I think I've fixed everything. If anyone spots an anomaly or sees something that needs to be changed (I have copied large portions of text without fully checking every word), please tell me. Incidentally, I've also found out a way to view post histories - this forum stores the old post even if you edit it, so there's no chance of me misclicking and deleting the whole thing permanently.

For some events you need to be a certain level, you probably aren't at that level yet or where not at that level when the events where happening.

Yep - I think they're all unlocked at level 30 ("they" being Thorn King, Berimond and Blade Coast).
The events all seem to be started manually by GGS rather than set on a random timer, and you usually get one of the three events roughly once every two months - TK and BC last a month so there's not too long a rest between events.

Marauders Event:
The veteran macemen loot 2 times more what a normal one would (or something like that). If i remember correctle, it's attack strengh was 160 (melee)

i am new therefore I cant help you with any of your missing information, but I certainly learned a lot about the events and will pay more attention to them now that I'm more aware of what each is. I've also shared with my alliance so please continue to post things like this as it is very helpful for one who is trying to learn the game. I wish I would've read it sooner, I could've understood more about why I received veteran crossbowman and extra tools. thank you for your efforts

The time events appear is not exactly known. There are some events that appear in a "monthly" basis, but with "small" events like the shady character is unknown. GGS don't reveal when events are going to appear either.

Probably, but I've never seen it confirmed. I think the achievement for it has been removed, as well.
