*Defending them* ba-dum-tss

Really, well if you are getting attacked on the outposts try improving the towers and the gate and wall first, building hideouts if you can't get the resources for the upgrades, and if they are trying to steal your outposts ask for help

Maybe if your outposts are too weak and you have high honor people are trying to get easy honor attacking your weakest castles.

All you have to do is make it not worth the effort. Is the person/s attacking you looting much resources each time? If so make sure you are using as much as possible, and send the rest to your main, or else where.

A common suggestion is to message this player and try to find a resolution, failing that speak to his/her alliance about being 'bullied' if that is the case. You can always ask your neighbors to help, or other alliances too.

Bullies are bad. I just captured an outpost yesterday and 10 people attacked it. Its a good thing I have been on for a long time. If you are bullied, talk to me.

you defend it with, defensive soliders, coupled with defensive tools.! depending on what level you are, an depending on what kind of buildings you have unlocked, you should have at least 500+ defenders at each location mininum. for big level players id prefer over at least 800 in each location an at all realms.

Please do not double post people. it is against the rules. If it were me, just upgrade the walls, towers, make sure you have good hideouts, do not stick any resources tehre if youre being attacked, and if youre a ruby player, I suggest NOT having ruby things in he outposts, unless you can defend it with more than 1000 troopers. If you have the most expensive decoration, but you only have 1 of them, dont put it in youre outpost. Unless youre serious on having expensive decorations, bakery, etc etc etc, then do it, because if the enemy takes capture of youre outpost, some of the things go into rubble, but not all.

You can't really avoid getting your outpost attacked,it's what we do in the game.

Just upgrade your towers,if you know you cant win a battle send your soldeirs and reosurces out, bring them back than continue recruiting and upgrading defesnes

A lot of people attack outposts for several reasons. I find these are the most common in my opinion:
1. They want to loot the big resource the outpost produces (and because in most outposts, it's easier to attack to get those resources due to the assumption that there would be because....go to number 2 :D)
2. They think it's less of a hassle to get honor than attacking your main castle like 'fraidy cats

What I do is I have only defense troops in my outposts (except for when I'm doing plunder quests, like for the time being until I reach lv. 31 and get that food outpost). I upgrade all the walls, gates, towers, and keeps to the highest level available to me, I take the resources those outposts make and I make defense tools out of them (after I've upgraded everything else). For example, I'd make castle gate reinforcements in my wood outpost while my stone outpost makes throwing stones and I share all those tools within all of my castles.
As soon as I get an outpost, I try to make the walls and everything else stone from the map's point of view first so that people would be less "apt," lets say, to jump in and attack it.
Defense is more important than attack in a war game. What have you won if your castle is burnt down (figuratively)?
