When attacking there is a setting above the wave setting that says "No effect bonus". What does that do?

It means your current commander's equipment doesn't give your armies a bonus, in other words that means that you don't have any items equiped for that commander.

Thanks for your reply but that just leads to more LOL. What equipment is this in reference to? Do I need to be at a certain level before I can acquire and use equipment?

Equipment are acquired by attacking NPC's you can check, equip and forge new equipment in the equipment window.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't know what NPC means and equipment window is something I will have to research too because I am not sure I know what you mean by that unless when you are attacking you are referring to ladders, rams, etc. I know where those are and have used them.

The equipment window, is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen (where sword Brothers used to be).
To get Equipment, attack the Robber Barons, you will get a piece of equipment roughly 50% of the time.

No effect bonus means you have not loaded any equipment on to your commander yet!

Thanks, I have seen messages about equipment when I attack the Robber Barons. I'll try to figure out how to load it to the commander. Any tips there?

NPC means Non-Player Character in other words the TENTS outside your castle and the robber baron, barbarian towers, desert towers, cultists, and the fortresses...
