1.The change defense tatic
1.Change your defense formation to 0-100-0(this will only work if he spies)
2.He attacks with massive forces in the middle and minmal forces on the flanks.
3.Change to 50-0-50 when its 3 minutes to the attack
4.sit back, the enemy on the flanks are surpised and killed
the massive force on the front has to fight in the keep with a -30% power.

1. Arrange things with your alliance to annoy a nearby player
2.when a revenge attack comes,your alliance should support you.
3.One member should attack the memeber when the attack is 15 mins away (the strongest or nearest)
4.he's trapped! with his army being beaten at your castle, his castle burning behind him!!!

Another tactic I use is to have no tools at the walls to troll the enemy
When I get attacked, and he/she uses tools just to take down my walls and moat I use my tools to always end up with a bonus.
If you need to go to bed, go to work or anything else meaning that you'll have to be offline for a long time then put your tools back since this tactic is only good when you are online

Yeah, tactics like this is why trying to outsmart defenders with troop layouts usually doesn't work. Most of the strategy of attacking revolves around which tools you use and when and where you attack. Standard operating procedure for troops is to send the max number on all flanks.

Yeah well this only works on inexperienced players
My alliance member got attacked and was spied before 2 times. First time we he caught the spy and new that he would get more. Even tough he only had 1 tools up the enemy send maximum tools (about 100) on each flank and on the front.

The best trolling way that will annoy them most when they used 1040 attackers and you can't defense.
1.Send espisonage
2. Send your attackers and defenders away ( When they are 4 min away from your castle)
3. Open gates (if you can)
4. Call back your troops when they are 2 min and 1 sec away.
5. Attack right away !!!!.

and depends on how fast you click ( Test your hand) . you can at best arrange the attack with 30 sec before they reach their castle.
you will get through ( hope that there will be no support) and kill all their attackers

Attack with every thing you have all over their castle. It will destroy it and they cant do anything for hours

Another way for lower levels is to put your dummies on the wall you're not defending. If they attack, and you dont have defenders there, the dummies will survive. They'll try to take down the dummies (put up the tools you have) with a lot of attackers in the front.

if your building up an army to attack and someone attacks you with an amount of men who will surely win, send you men to your outpost just before they get to your castle and take your tools off so then you wont lose any men or tools

No... only one dummy counts per stack. So you can have a maximum of 30 extra per flank (and 30 in the keep).
Unless things have changed since I left the game before.

The main drawback to that is sometimes/some people, don't do espionage first so you want to be careful when and how you do this.
