if you know a way to get lots of coins fast can u pls tell so i can recruit more soldiers faster and i lost around 50 macemen and 60 crossbowmen so that was a lot of soldiers lost and im on around 500 coins plus if theres a way to exchange rubies for coins tht would be great:)

Get an outpost and build & upgrade dwellings like crazy. That'll increase your tax collection.

Building tons of dwellings will get you a lot of coins, yes, but I'm not a fan of that strategy, it absolutely kills your public order. I think that by far the best way to get coins is to raid robber baron castles. I still always collect taxes, but when that's all I do, it seems like I only break even. I recently started raiding RBCs like crazy for the equipment, and my coin supply shot up by about 100,000 coins in two days (that's after paying for troop losses), and I know of people who've done much better than that. Granted, I was raiding level 15-25s and was sending out 9 attacks at a time, but even low levels can earn more than enough for their needs. Make sure you've read up on all the troop attack/defense stats so you know which units to send against certain defenders, and always spy first (though you can save the results, same level RBCs always have the same layout. Take special notice of the "to go" number though, a level 6-2 to go is different than a 6-1 to go). Lots of people just throw all the soldiers they have at an RBC, lose most if not all of their troops because they didn't find out how to do it right, and decide that RBCs are a rip-off. That couldn't be farther from the truth.

I haven't been attacking RBC as much as i should have. want to start taking on more. I have 500 battle ready attack troops and my top RBC level is 10 which is pretty sad thinking that i'm a lvl 36

A popular strategy is putting dwellings in your ops.

Attacking RBC's works pretty well too
